    I feel your pain bro.

Windows and I are not the best of friends.
I tried to update my system to Windows 7 recently, fouled up just about all my good software. :'(

For the sake of thread continuity, been playin' a lot Red Dead Redemption lately.

Played through Sonic 2 yesterday. Took several attempts, but eventually got through it without a single death.

    Go me.

And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

I've been replaying Super Mario 64 on my Open Pandora a little. I also feel like playing through Chrono Trigger again. Red Dead Redemption is a game I've been dying to try out, but I have over fifty Xbox 360 games (excluding the downloaded arcade games—then it would be nearly one hundred) so I want to complete my current purchases first.

RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

All PC games are utter shite right now.

I'm looking for an epic coop game that has the depth of a storyline like Fallout: New Vegas. Borderlands almost did this but they practically released a half-assed game. It could have been so much epic-er. :'(

I don't like playing single player, I have no motivation and I get scared cause I'm a wuss. L4D/L4D2 was fun for a while but it's just the same ole maps. I just think a PROPER storyline coop game would be awesome. Multiplayer ftw.

    Oh I play minecraft XD

The days of TimeSplitters: Future Perfect... Sure, the first two games had great co-op going on, but the story was far from fleshed-out. Hell, the first game barely acknowledged its own story.

If only they got a PC release. FUUUUUUUU-

(Probably worth mentioning that I'm not too bothered about story; as long as there's one shallow enough reason to warrant sprinting around blasting evil things in the face, I'm usually happy in that respect. Full co-op campaigns though... I miss those days.)

Hmmm. Overall, I'd rather play TimeSplitters 2, but that's because of the co-op, though the multiplayer was great. I loved the improved map editing on Future Perfect. It was better for multiplayer, but as far as I recall the story was a bit cheesy for single player.

So what would a PROPER (makes me think of chavs, no offence ) storyline co-op game consist of?

RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

The story was deliberately that way in TS:FP; it's one big ****-take of nonsensical sci-fi plots.

As far as I'm concerned, the story can be relegated to the manual; that bit's not exactly integral to enjoying the gameplay, although some of you may find it to be the motivation to continue?

Anyway, for me, a decent co-op game would essentially take the SP game and simply add more players (making changes where necessary to avoid creating plot-holes or random nonsensical contradictions within the game, and obviously putting a cap on the number of players allowed to join*). Seriously. That's all that's needed a lot of the time; if the campaign/story has had enough effort put into it, then it should work just fine with more than one player.

*Because if Skulltag has taught me anything, it's taught me that 32 Doomguys on one map really isn't as fun as I thought it would be.

RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

Well I don't know if you've ever played New Vegas, I just watched some walkthroughs. I love how main characters can actually get killed and the storyline completely changes depending what you do. Like each decision you make effects another, you could play the game 5 times ending the game each time differently, as far as I can gather.

Instead of just having coop for 4 tiny campaigns, having a nice huge ole plot to play with would be epic for me. I love good storylines just as much as the action and I think it make it more interesting having more control over it rather than it being exactly the same every time.
