Well, I defeated The Pain. But one thing I can't figure out is why I keep on finding myself unable to equip suppressors. Eh, it's a good game but it isn't living up to my expectations. I feel like starting Peace Walker.

RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

Just bought Red Faction II (again -- and have already blasted my way right up to the last few sections), along with something I completely missed when it was released:

    No, that's not me.

Obviously I'm not very far what with having only owned the game for less than a day, but I'm already enjoying it a hell of a lot.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City What game(s) are you currently playing?

I beat it already but the free Spec Ops DLC came out not too long ago so I am going to go back to it soon. Story was short and it didn't feel like it have the "choices" they were promising for story purposes plus the controls are a little disoriented and confusing. But if you play with friends and do the story and play online, it's actually quite pleasant. I wouldn't recommend buying it new but if you got it used and wanted to have a game to goof off in, that would be it.

    Arkham City

I've been meaning to get around to it and I have actually only played for about 2 hours through which is not far at all. I love it even in that short of time but it's definitely a game I want to sit down and play for long hours because I feel the story is going to bloom and become much more developed and I loved the first game and the story was where it was at for me in the previous title. I'll tell you how it goes later on without giving away spoilers.

Also, I am playing Gears of War 3 to get my achievements for the Forces of Nature DLC which came out a little while ago.

Recently played the Diablo III beta which I must say I really enjoyed. I can't compare it to the other two though since I've never played them Apart from that been switching between modern warfare 2 and 3...

RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

Been smashing through FFXIII-2's main story as of late. Right now though I'm taking a break.

I have to say, it's really that much better than the first one. The storyline has practically cranked the knob from 10 to 11, as the plot involves traveling through time to change the future from becoming the end of the world. Dare I say it, but the post-apocalyptic overtones remind me of the World of Ruin in FF6.

There is definitely more sense of exploration this time. Your locations are more or less time periods in certain new places, and there are quests and mini-games you can take on this time around. In them you'll obtain fragments, which will be important for story, lore, and a few certain bonuses. DLC content supposedly will fill up a good chunk of the game's endgame content as well, or so I've noticed. Remember Ultros and Typhoon from FF6? Yep, if you buy the DLC featuring them, you get to fight them in a Colosseum world in an unknown year.

The battle systems have been expanded, and improved itself decently. For one, when you get monster aggression, you get timed on how quickly you can strike your enemy to execute a battle with a pre-emptive strike, making for faster fights and better results, drops and the like. You can also either head straight-on, let a monster tag you, or you can flee from the monsters. But most importantly, the in-game fights are about the same (yes, "auto-attack" is back, but really, it's much more rewarding to manually choose your abilities), with the Paradigm System being the main feature of the battle system. This time, though, you can even get monsters you fight in battle to fight with you, after you "capture" them. Each monster comes with its own role and crystarium to build them on, and you can select up to 3 monsters to include in all six your paradigm setups.

Square-Enix stepped up his game on the soundtrack as well, with Masashi Hamauzu making his return as main composer, along with a few veteran Square-Enix composers adding into the ensemble of strong music this game provides. Nobuo Uematsu even provided a little bit on the soundtrack as well! Despite a select few unfavorable tracks, the majority rules here, and I find this soundtrack to be pretty high-up on the scale of Final Fantasy Soundtracks. And if my words aren't convincing enough, let this battle tune, dashed with their signature intro, tell it for you:

My only gripe with the game is the supporting NPC Mog. Oh my god, whoever dubbed his voice made "Kupo" sound like the next "UGUU!" FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU-!! But I suppose I take my anger out on him by throwing him around to fetch me some treasure. Which you can actually do a bit further into the game, by the way.

FF13 got beaten hard with negative press, though personally I thought it was worth my time regardless of the flaws other people looked at it for. If you're into the Final Fantasy series at all, I say give this one a shot. Don't worry about not having beat the first game either- This pretty awesome sequel will fill you in on what happened in full detail, and I found that pretty convenient.

And after a few days, I can say without any doubt that Shadow Of Chernobyl is ****ing hard. You will die, and die, and die, and die, and die. Over and over and over again.

Red Faction II has been beaten and stuffed away somewhere, I doubt I'll go through it again any time soon. The lack of any online play at all (not even Network games) is completely and utterly baffling, given that the original game featured it and is still being played today.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R games are a cakewalk when you get used to them. But getting used to them is the problem.

Currently playing Knights of Honor because using Norway to rule 50% of europe is fun. Germany, Lithuania, France and the Byzantium empire are all paying me money to not attack them
