RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

I haven't been able to play many console games with me being away in Italy, but before I left and right after I got my Xbox fixed, I took a plunge into one of Atlus's more recent releases: Catherine

I may do a review on this game once I finish it, but man...this game is fun! I've played only a handful of games released by Atlus that I can name off the top of my head (Radiant Historia and Persona 3 & 4 are coming to mind right now), but they've all been of some serious quality. I can guarantee that once I get back adjusted into the States, I'll be playing this game almost nonstop.

For things I can do now...I've done a Nuzlocke run of Pokemon Yellow.
A Nuzlocke run is a "hard mode" variant of the original game with some personal restrictions. These three rules are standard (though other players have created some "house rules" for themselves):

    1. Fainted = Dead. If one of your Pokemon dies, you CANNOT use it again. You MUST release it via PC.
    2. The only opportunity to catch Pokemon is if the Pokemon you encounter is the FIRST one you run into. For example, assume I run into a level 5 Caterpie in the Viridian Forest. As long as I haven't encountered any other Pokemon in this area (this goes for any other area)I have this opportunity and this opportunity ONLY to catch it. If it dies, too bad. If it runs, too bad. If I don't want it, too bad.
    3. You must give each of your Pokemon a nickname. This adds intrinsic worth to your Pokemon and makes it hurt even more if they die on you. Plus, it's the only fun you'll have! *evil laughter*

I could do an LP of Pokemon Yellow as a Nuzlocke run and post it here if you guys think it's a good idea.
A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him. What awaits him down the path he will then have to choose; the boy doesn't always know. At some point the boy then becomes an adult, and learns what he was able to become. Joy and sadness will forever accompany this. He is confronted with a choice; when this happens, does he bid his past farewell in his heart? Once a boy becomes an adult, he can no longer go back to being a boy; the boy is now a man. Only one thing can be said: "A boy has the right to dream.". For those endless possibilities are stretched out before him.

We must remember...all men were once boys.

RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

Recently I've found myself playing Mass Effect.

I've yet to cause a massive effect within the story itself. Gameplay's good, though the AI leaves something to be desired.

And the transport thing you use on planets provides a lot of hilarity. Especially on near 90 degree mountains.
Fighting through Aliens, Robots, Insane sick people, demons, plants, dragons, fish, squids, jellyfish and more for the good of the forum!

When I play a game, I usually want to see lethal amounts of death and destructive amounts of ruination.

I love watching my fiancé play Catherine, it's fun. But recently I've been playing Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, I just enjoy it a lot.

(Aisha Clan Clan) I've never seen a ship like this before. It's far behind any C'tarl-C'tarl ship. It won't move unless you're naked! That's very kinky, wouldn't you say?

Nice, it's just one of those games that's fun to play and fun to watch, too. Like I said, can't wait to play it when I get back to the States.

Right now, besides Pokemon Yellow (still finding time to update ), I've been playing a lot of Tetris, believe it or not. I've played it a lot as a youth on my dad's NES, but now that it's on Facebook, I got roped into playing it pretty regularly. Maybe a bit too regularly...

RE: What game(s) are you currently playing?

Tonight I started L.A. Noire. It got some criticism, but I'm finding it fun so far. I'm juggling too many games right now, though. I don't like unfinished business, but I'm finding it hard to resume my progress on Red Dead Redemption despite it being such a good game, for some reason.

I'm also very happy about a recent Android release. It's a game I haven't played in a decade: a port of Max Payne. I'm not too far into it, but the controls translate pretty well onto the touch screen. You can move around everything to your liking. Of course, it's not as easy to play as with a controller or keyboard/mouse, but I can usually get pretty accurate shots and manoeuvrability is usually easy. I'm looking forward to any future ports of last-gen games. I'm thinking of getting GTA3 for my phone, but heard of some compatibility issues, despite my phone being a recent model (Galaxy S2).

Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

Only good thing about RPGs now is that they are all on 1 Disc now instead of 3-4 disc's long.
