Seriously?! xD I had no idea about that. 'You go on ahead Jill, I need to finger this blood for a while.'

The live action opening in the PS1 version always makes me laugh.

My friend and I had a theory that Wesker was born with those sunglasses. As in, he came out the womb with them on.

His voice actor's name is actually Barry Gjerde lol.

Also, to be on topic for the topic itself, I just played and recorded a bit more of my Professional Run of Resident Evil 4. Just beat Salazar with only 1 death. Honestly really happy about that.
And I died to hos inst-kill om nom nom attack because I thought it would be a QTE, since...ya know, everything else in that fight can be dodged by a QTE lol.

    I started playing a freebie JRPG on my android tablet yesterday, and I got hooked immediately...To the point I spent the five bucks to get rid of the ads so I could save more easily. Mind you, I played it four hours before that- and since then, I've racked up seven or eight hours in it. Antiquia Lost is really amazing to me, both from character development aspects and just some really unique mechanisms it employs. I can't choose my favorite character, either...The method they used to break the fourth wall at points to tell you about the in-app purchases and eventually shoving extra ads at you was at least fun, too. But I think the game itself is too addicting for me right now. ;-;

Streets of Rage Remake is a good "pick up and play" game in-between working since it's easy to exit and return later. I wish I really was playing half of the games it shows on Steam, but I run a program to "farm" trading cards so I can sell them for credit. As for games I have been playing, well, in the past couple of days I've played a bit of Jet Set Radio, and some of Sonic 4, which is a disappointing game, but I thought I'd try to get the achievements.

Back at university six years ago two hallmates and I raced to get all the Sonic 4 achievements on the Xbox 360. I won which frustrated them. I actually won nearly all multiplayer games, even chance-based ones like Wii Party. They played less eventually, even when I said I'd try to lose sometimes.

It always sucks when people refuse to play with you just because they lost the last time. If it bothers you so much, try getting better, then? You could always let them win, but where's the fun in that? I don't mind losing to other people (or failing in general) because the funnest part of any game in my mind, is actually learning how to play better. It gives you something to strive towards.

After getting my Windows PC back I realised that I had actually bought Jet Set Radio! It must have been on the summer sales. That's a game I've always wanted to play, but never really had the means to until now. I've been trying (and failing) to get into S.T.A.L.K.E.R, so I think I'll move on to that next.

I prefer losing games to a friend than to a CPU, personally. When I lose a game of OJ with pals, I mostly focus on beating any CPUs in the room. It's rewarding to me to beat them- when it comes to playing with a friend, we're both winners because we both had fun! But with CPU...I dunno. I'm competitive with computers. And in general...But especially with computers.

Absolutely, Hari. I hate big girls' blouses when it comes to gaming. (Or many other things for that matter!) Now you've got your Windows system up and running I look forward to some grudge-free gaming!

Yes, I agree that even losing is okay, June. However, if my opponent is insulting me constantly, it does bring out my competitive spirit and I won't play nice anymore. I'll also admit that winning does make me feel just that little bit better. But that's only human, right? Speaking of multiplayer, you guys need to sort out the gaming night for tomorrow. Unfortunately, I must see family so I won't be able to play, but Sunday night is an option. At any rate I hope you'll enjoy tomorrow and I do hope that you set it up. Remember, you can all communicate with one another since you've joined (and if you haven't do so!) the OSN Steam group, so be sure to arrange something.

What do you mean by "Big Girls' Blouses" in gaming? Is this in regard to character design or something...?

And that's true- human nature is part of what leads us to wanting to excel. Still, I like to think that whoever has the most fun is the real winner. I often say when watching game shows the winner is me, because I got to watch the insanity. I feel the same with games.

...Though I think I get more competitive in my gaming when it's puzzles or single-player. The RPG I've been playing is driving me nuts due to the big boss (and storyline, which makes me kinda wanna cry xD I'm such a sap). I just can't figure out how to kill it- without killing the hostage! Yes, it basically has a hostage. It's pretty unique to me. As for puzzles...Well what can I say? I'm a puzzle loving fool.

Hehe June, the top part of your post made me laugh. In Mantis' case, a 'big girls blouse' would be a sore loser, something like that. It's a term you hear quite often in the UK, so it's understandable if you've never heard it before!

I never get mad when I die in games, most of the time I'll be laughing my ass off because of how dumb the turn of events that led to that point were, especially in multiplayer shooters and the like. I manage to get myself in all kinds of weird situations, somehow. If someone is spamming that damn 'Lenny face' along with their geniusly witty key binds, that can be very obnoxious. Honestly, I try to turn off public chat whenever I can these days for that very reason.

It can be a different story in single player games, though-- trying to do something over and over again, only to fail each time can be very frustrating indeed. My time with the Souls series has somewhat numbed me to that, though.

I miss having people around to play with; we always had so much fun and our different skill levels meant you didn't always know who was going to win and the only times we ever got salty was during Mario Party. Then again, if you don't get upset playing the older games, it doesn't feel right.

I was playing Pokémon Yellow here that I downloaded on my 3DS, but I have no choice but to start over.

Is everyone familiar with the Teleport glitch people used to get Mew? Well you can do it to get other stuff to spawn as well and I was messing around with that. A popular trainer to use it on is the Gambler in front of the tunnel you walk to from Lavender Town to reach Celadon City. I Teleported away from battling him and then fought a Channeler in Pokémon Tower.

I then headed left again to see what would show up when the text box "Let's roll the dice!" popped up and a Gambler with two Poliwags and a Poliwhirl, all at level 22 battled me. Then immediately after a glitched text box came up and another Gambler with that same team battled me.

I went to the Pokémon center to heal and made a fatal mistake... I saved. If I hadn't, I could have reset and been fine. Now when I walk left to go to that tunnel there's severe lag when my character walks. It's the only area where it happens. If I keep going the game just freezes or crashes. I also discovered 5 boxes in the PC have been loaded with glitch Pokémon that crash the game if I try to release them.

This version must be more unstable than the cartridge release because I do not recall this ever happening before. At least now I know... 10 hours in ><
