I just love his voice, especially those high parts of the songs
And he's a really nice guy, with great sense of humour. I've seen one his concert live and it was amazing to hear him this way.

Without question, Whitney Houston. I've been a fan of hers from the beginning and I truly think she has the best voice ever as far as female singers go. To me, she was able to take from the ones that came before her like Lena Horne, Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, and Aretha Franklin, combine them all and with her unique voice really change how music was going for female singers in the 1980s.

She brought back singing for women and ended up birthing a generation of singers after her. Unfortunately, most of them haven't studied music and singing in the same manner that she did, so their work doesn't reach the same level or anywhere near it, but they try.

I have a few. I love Sting, RuPaul, Lady Gaga, Panic!At the Disco, Green Day, All American Rejects and Evanescence to name a few. I was raised from the start on different types of music, soI have a lot of favorites lol. I enjoy each way the singer/bands play

But tell me one thing. What do you like with Lady Gaga? What makes people to like her so much?

Lady Gaga is actually talented. I've seen her without the garb and just on a piano and a microphone. She can carry a tune, but she is an amazing pianist. However, I won't pay much attention or even attempt to take her seriously until she decides to take her music the same way.

When she writes a real album worth listening to and stops hiding behind the costumes, I'll be the first to give it a listen.

Serj Tankian from System of a Down. Great singer whose solo work is very impressive as well.

I try no to believe (or even read) what they write about celebrities. But still it has influence on my choices - music ones and film ones too.

It's fine to judge someone whom you have evidence to support as to how he or she acts. It's unfair to judge someone whom you don't know and don't have any information to support his or her behavior.

I'm going to jump on a massive bandwagon here and say Hozier. I love the lyrics of all the songs on his latest album, and I listen to it straight through all the time. It's clear that he puts his heart and soul into everything he writes, and he has an incredible talent for just expressing what it's like to be human. That, combined with his resonant, soulful, and unique voice, makes him my favorite right now.

I imagine my favorite musician to have either a mullet, long beard or hairy chest adorning a thick, gold chain. It seems like we're going back in time, perhaps to the 70's and 80's when most male musicians sported the above. But since we don't live during that time period, let's take a look at what today's indie music scene can present us. If I'd have to choose one singer/musician who can sing well and hold style cues from that time period, it would be none other than the French artist - Sebastien Tellier.

You don't have to know who he is, chances are you've heard his music in airports, airplanes, motorcar and fragrance commercials. A combination of electropop with a dash of indie-folksy weirdness thrown in for good measure.
