Oi vey. Music on UKF just doesn't do Dubstep justice.

    Here we go again...
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

Haha! I won't go into that, fortunately. I think my stance on Dubstep has been firmly placed. XD

You youngins and your dubstep, jk.

Kind of reminds me when death metal starting to pick up along with that screamo crap although admittedly, I find dubstep to be a lot better than those two and do like a few songs.

I can only imagine what the next 50 years of music will bring...

It's hard to imagine what music will be like. Will their be meaningful lyrics, or just a barrage of sounds? Who knows?

I didn't think I'd be posting in this thread again, but I see you are still talking about dubstep. I know we've been over the "real dubstep" thing already, but for those who haven't actually listened to non-commercialised dubstep, here is a traditional style tune.

If you don't like it, that's fine, but I'd be surprised if someone couldn't tell the difference.

Like always before, there will be both. It's easy to compare things like Bohemian Rhapsody and some generic rap song from the billboards and say "See how much thought Queen put into their lyrics? SEE?!" but at the same time completely forgetting how much crap <insert any music genre here> there has been over the years.

But I do also find myself a bit more sheltered from the newer music, even when it comes down to genres that I like - and then I find a new back that I just fall in love with, despite them having started only couple years ago. So there will always be good music and bad music, as there has always been. Don't let that build up an illusion that music before was inherently better than music today.
