Heh, good stuff from both of ya.

Okay, you asked for it. I dug up some shit photographs from over six years ago, mostly taken in Paris when I stayed there for a month. A couple edited. Brace yourselves...

    It's a car. Hooray.

    Eiffel Tower.

    Eiffel Tower... again.
    The photo thread!-photo3-jpg

The skyscraper where I took the Eiffel Tower photos from, called Tour Montparnasse. My ex-girlfriend worked there, so I got free roof access.

!!! OMG FACE REVEAL OMG !!!
A group of girls from Nigeria followed me for a while, presumably because I'm British. Unfortunate baguette position.

I call this "Tree". I'm an artist of sorts.
    The photo thread!-photo6-jpg

Another face reveal. Except it's my ex-girlfriend, not me. You can just about see her face in the reflections. Oh wait, no you can't. Good.
It's some funky Paris transport. Indeed, a double-decker train.

    The photo thread!-photo7-jpg

Back garden of my parents' house and the field behind it. I spent a lot of time there as a kid.
    The photo thread!-photo8-jpg

Some shitty Photoshop work. I called it "Adventure". Now I call it "Lame". Original photo is below it.

Glad you didn't see all of that!

I always suspected you to be a mantis, and now the truth is finally revealed!

Those Eiffel Tower photos sure are pretty. 'A mantis has a right to dream, endless possibilities that are stretched out before him...'

    The photo thread!

The other thing that I had been waiting for arrived today, see if you can guess what it is.

    The photo thread!-img_1472733660-053193-jpg

    Du-du-du-duuuh!

    The photo thread!-img_1472733683-119065-jpg

It's a Bluetooth SNES controller! It sure is nicely packaged, even came with a nice little keychain.

    The photo thread!-img_1472733704-596546-jpg

As you can see, it works like a dream! It feels great, too-- just like the real thing. The buttons feel nice and clicky.

Now if you'll excuse me, Hyrule needs my help!

    Go get 'em, Link!

I'm impressed by how well made it looks- and especially impressed by your positioning of the Link figure in that last image! What do you use this with though? PC? Or is it for the Wii/U?

I have a quasi-bluetooth wireless GC controller for my Wii. I should go play Harvest Moon for the first time in ages...I haven't played Magical Melody or AWL in a while.

I've been using it to play some SNES and GBA games on my computer, but there are probably other things you could use it with since it connects via bluetooth, maybe phone games for instance...? Honestly, I'm not really sure. But it feels great playing Super Metroid with a (not really) genuine SNES controller, I couldn't imagine using anything else.

I have to say, it's very refreshing to be playing games with actual difficulty again! Be honest, when's the last time you saw a game over screen in any modern game?

That looks brilliant. I love things like this. I'll have to take some pictures of my portable Steam machine. Well, it's a bit of a makeshift job, but it works surprisingly well.

Please do, Mantis! Do you mean portable as in, it has a little screen bolted onto it?

My dad took an amazing picture last night of a fun wifi-signal he found with our internet-television. I added it as an attachment. Seriously, this is adorable to me.

That's great. I wish I were that creative when it comes to to network names! I think I actually named one 'pizza' one time... yeah.
