    RE: A Ctarl-Ctarl's Journal

Sounds like adjusting has been pretty difficult. I hope you work things out soon.
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

    RE: A Ctarl-Ctarl's Journal

A lot has happened in the last two months. Not a whole lot that can be shared, but a lot nonetheless. I got a job as a quality assurance auditor for a warehouse company called New Breed. The pay is decent, and I thought I liked it there. Within the month or so I've been there, I've been changed from 1st shift, to split, to 2nd shift, each progressively worse than the last. 1st was 7 to 3:30, split was 11 to 7:30, and 2nd is 3:30 to 12am.

Why is that bad? Because it means I'm available to run errands and do chores for my host as soon as I get up. Since starting on monday, this has been my first drop of free time. Everything else was either resting, working, or doing some errand for my host. I keep myself open to the idea of going back home if it gets too out of hand.

I've been aching to get back to Outlaw Star matters all the while. It pisses me off that I haven't really had a chance to sit down and post in the OLS RPG until now, and even now my time is extremely limited. It makes me very sad, and partially regret giving up the freedoms I had at my house. OLS is as much a part of me as any of my limbs, so one can imagine what it's like for me not to be involved in it for so long.

Student loans will be rolling in the month, which means I'm not going to be seeing much money for months to come and beyond. If things haven't changed by next August, I'm moving back home--no change would mean I'm wasting my life away here, girlfriend or no.

Ctarl-Ctarl philosophy is worming its way into my daily decisions and actions. Is it Justice? Is it Courage? Is it Tenacity? That's what I'm starting to live by.
