I don't like the idea of having something attached me me all the time. I have my phone near me most of the time but I can easily get up and leave it behind. I am not attached to it like everyone else. Heck, I don't even have an active service on it right now LOL Without wifi I can't text or call anyone.

Funny that you brought up Wall-E as well Buck. That is what I think is the future if people don't stop letting tech gear do all the work. Yes, a lot of it is great but we are getting too lazy!

The galaxy great looks great, I've not actually got anything myself, I cant really see myself wearing a watch despite being a gadget person. I can see why Google Glass stopped, there was way too many privacy issues etc. I just enjoy having a phone with a 5.7" display, I cant imagine trying to look at anything smaller.

This thread makes me want to find my Galaxy Gear and start using it again.
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

I think it's kind of cool. There are so many advancements these days in technology, why not make some of it wearable? While some things (watches, etc.) might be more for convenience and usefulness, there are other items that can just be for fun as well.

I've recently seen t-shirts that light up. There are even some battery operated shirts that can play music. I think that kind of stuff is cool and would make for some fun gift giving ideas.
