    RE: Home

It's quite all right. I'm often pretty verbose with my own posts. It's good you got sorted out with a vehicle. Maybe you'll be able to go and visit in Germany at some point? I do hope your financial situation improves in the near future!

    RE: Home

I personally, as of right now, live with my parents. I'm planning to eventually move out and find my own place (flat/house), but that is still a few years away it seems and I'm not in a hurry, so no complaining here. When the time comes, I will know.

I feel well at the place I currently live in, been here for a long time, but it is not my original location. I know my true home is somewhere among the stars/in space. Maybe it is hard to understand, but when I look outside the window at night, I know THAT is where I want and need to be in the end. Planet Earth is an amazing place with many inspiring and friendly people, but also alot of evil. I see this planet as a giant playground where everyone can do anything they want in order to gain new experience which they can use in the future. I like what I have, I like the people I know, I like the various places and cultures on this planet, but I don't feel the natural bond, at least not that much. It depends on the location I visit. I look at the world very differently than the majority of people I know.

What I am trying to say is, some of us are here on a mission and eventhough we would like to leave, we feel the obligation to remain here no matter what until we are done.
Believe in yourself and create your own destiny. Don't fear failure.

    RE: Home

I can sort of relate. I don't believe in any sort of mission, or a destiny. We create our own destinies. I would definitely say that this country does not feel like a true home to me, however, which is why I want to travel around the world once I graduate and see what I find. Humanity's a complex thing to talk about. The truth sometimes sucks, and there's plenty to question in this world. Sometimes it's difficult to simply ignore the negatives, and you're right; there is a lot of evil. A lot of people are barbarians, and that's just the way it isa reality we all have to face.

And in the end, can you say for sure that space is much more than an empty void? I won't dispute many others' beliefs, but I suppose I could say I don't seek to find out my purpose until my time here is up. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. In the meantime, I've just got to get on with life. I used to be pretty philosophical, but I've changed, I guess.
