    RE: Natural Disasters in Japan

There is this game I am playing online and they gave me a site to donate. I thought about how Japan has helped us in the past. And that even though there may be some things I don't particularly care about in Japan's government/culture, I still support the idea of helping everyone out since we are all in this together (living on this planet, that is).

I unfortunately only donated $5 since I am broke, but I do feel that if we all pitched in a little bit, a lot will come out.

Also, it shouldn't take a catastrophe for us to care about one another. Love, peace, music, & Outlaw Star is what we need!

I always figured food and water was pretty important, but what do I know? D:
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

So apparently there was another earthquake in Miyagi, reaching 7.1 on the Richter Scale...

I'll admit that I didn't hear about this as I haven't checked the news, but fortunately it seems only about thirty people were injured.

Yeah, it just keeps piling up on Japan. That sucks BIG time.

They've been through enough already, give them a friggin' breathing chance to recooperate from the first natural disaster attack on them mother nature!

There will most probably be even more quakes. If you count all of them until now, there's been over 700 of them (including small ones). I've also heard Mt. Fuji might errupt next week, hard to say if true. If it does though, bye bye Japan. I feel really bad for the Japanese. The country is already a disaster, eventhough they are quickly recovering. They really don't deserve this.

    RE: Natural Disasters in Japan

Yeah, the 7.1 wasn't really an Earthquake, its a left over from the original earthquake, so technically it's a really really big aftershock. It hit the same place as the previous one, but very few were hurt as it was in a evacuated area, and there was no more damage to the fushima power station.

And seriously, its just taking the piss - I'm not so worried about the direct result of the earthquakes if I'm honest, as Japan has earthquake proof buildings, it's the domino effect that they cause

I've heard nothing about a Fuji eruption. Probably just media controversy. I sure hope so.

I think there would be more coverage if it was true. I think it's probably a worry, but nothing really to support it.

I don't think it's smoking yet, so should be okay
