    Childhood TV Shows

Post about television memories from your childhood here. One of my favourite shows as a kid was Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. I was a huge Sonic fan back then and this show's slapstick humour always amused me. I was quite intrigued to see the show become a meme on YouTube.

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The earlier seasons were awesome (sadly it did get a bit stale as things went on), and would you believe it? Shredder was voiced by none other than James 'Uncle Phil' Avery. Incredible.

Besides, Bebop & Rocksteady are two of the best idiot henchmen ever.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

The TMNT cartoon was great. Oh man. Rosie and Jim—memories. Oh yeah, this weird-ass show that always had me fascinated:

    RE: Childhood TV Shows

    Oh no, ZZZAP was bad!

It was strangely addictive, but even back then I knew it was a low-budget shovelling from people who couldn't write scripts that included any real dialogue. That, and I absolutely hated the 'Cuthbert Lilly' character, because one of my friends just wouldn't shut up about it. If I wanted to see an idiot with no balance at all, I could just look outside and stare at my neighbour's latest attempt at fixing the guttering.

Although technically not a show that came out during my childhood, at one point I was glued to the TV whenever my uncle threw on a Thundercats VHS. It was just so surreal, and Panthro would beat the shit out of He-Man any day of the week. And Panthro wasn't even the lead.
