    Epic Win

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDG8hZBpSbE

This is a recent BBC game show. If you view the video on YouTube, you can of course watch the other parts—or indeed other episodes if you wish to waste more of your time. What did you think of it? Like how I couldn't fathom why people think Mock The Week is a great show, I can not understand why this is entertaining or what they were thinking when they made it. As said in part one's comments, "epic win" really doesn't suit the BBC. Whilst I use the word epic from time to time, the word is nowadays overused. It's as if the BBC figured taking a slice of internet culture, a big load of curry and beans, downing the lot with a plethora of soft drinks and a whole container of laxatives, then taking a trip to the shitter would equal £££PROFIT£££!

In short, it just seems like an epic fail to me. Believe me, I like good comedy and seeing good talent, but a lot of the time in this show the "talent" demonstrated is plain ridiculous and EPIC FAIL is set in stone before they begin. A lot of the chatter seems so obviously staged it's hard to find it funny. The host says everything happens in the "Epic Centre", but in some cases they just play back a video taken previously outside the studio. You already know the contestant has won. After all, why would they travel all the way to the studio to have "EPIC FAIL!" yelled at them, be given a sticker saying those words, and be sent through the FAIL door?

It might seem like I'm taking it too seriously. Maybe I am. Simply because it isn't really funny. The BBC tried to imitate Japanese game shows and failed horrendously. Now internet culture involving contestants who have probably never used a computer for anything other than Facebook. Le sigh. I guess I'd be a complete jerk if I said everything about it is rubbish. Well, that's nearly the case, but that guy who announces "EPIC WIN!" or "EPIC FAIL!" or "zero pounds" is funny, and it does have the occasional slightly amusing moment. Otherwise, don't bother with this one.

It just makes me want to watch '80s and '90s game shows.
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

    RE: Epic Win

    WHAT IS THE POINT?

Also, Guy in White is the only good thing about this show
Fighting through Aliens, Robots, Insane sick people, demons, plants, dragons, fish, squids, jellyfish and more for the good of the forum!

When I play a game, I usually want to see lethal amounts of death and destructive amounts of ruination.

Here's some internet culture for the producers to read; it's made of ass and fail and ghey.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

I agree with Asher, A decent mustache indeed.

Maybe so, but the show's still shit.

And isn't a title like "Mr. Remarkable Man" a bit... well... redundant?

Very, but I think it's kinda charming.
But I can see why you say that.
Low brow entertainment and I are longtime friends.
