    Better Call Saul

I don't know if I made a thread for this or not. I ended up starting it and got hooked. It starts very slow but the latest season they are in has been great. It feels just like Breaking Bad did when stuff was hitting the fan in every episode.

Anyone else here watching the series? I think it has been great thus far.

Season 5 is on a whole other level. You are going to love it. I have been keeping up with it and watching it each week. Thankfully it didn't get pushed back like some other shows because of this virus issue.

I think it is on AMC. I watch it the next day online. It is on Monday nights. I am not sure how many episodes are left but you have quite a few for this season to watch.

I love Better Call Saul. I sync the new episodes with my family. While I sync via Plex I also get it on Netflix because I'm in the UK. As well as that I watch Homeland weekly, with the latest seasons of the two now wrapping up at the same time. (Homeland has now finished completely.)

I'd say Better Call Saul (as well as El Camino) is one of the best series Netflix UK has ever acquired, although honestly it doesn't have loads of good shows (particularly originals) to compete with. It's absolutely a shining example of a spin-off done right. Unfortunately AMC has cancelled it so it'll have one last season next year... probably, depending on Corona-chan. That'll be 13 episodes long, bringing the grand total to 63—one episode longer than Breaking Bad! (I guess technically Breaking Bad preemptively one-upped it with the release of El Camino.)

I have a bit of a funny history with this show. I like to watch Louis C.K. standup comedy and a friend of mine texted me, mentioning that he had a TV show and somehow I wound up on this Better Call Saul thing instead of "Louie". Until I saw this thread, I thought Better Call Saul was a Louis C.K. show that was so terribly unfunny that I turned it off after 3 minutes wondering how the hell this was related to standup.

I honestly didn't know AMC actively cancelled Better Call Saul, since I was under the impression that Gilligan and Gould would end the series on their own terms with season 6. Going into BCS, I was afraid that it wasn't going to live up to the lofty expectations Breaking Bad set, but I'm convinced that with the direction things are going that it will eclipse BB. Either way I hope BCS ends as fulfilling as BB did; we don't want another Bojack on our hands (still recovering from that mess ).
A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him. What awaits him down the path he will then have to choose; the boy doesn't always know. At some point the boy then becomes an adult, and learns what he was able to become. Joy and sadness will forever accompany this. He is confronted with a choice; when this happens, does he bid his past farewell in his heart? Once a boy becomes an adult, he can no longer go back to being a boy; the boy is now a man. Only one thing can be said: "A boy has the right to dream.". For those endless possibilities are stretched out before him.

We must remember...all men were once boys.

I know Bojack got cancelled but I thought the last season of that show was one of the best Ive ever seen. Definitely the best portrayal of mental illness Ive ever seen. They wrapped everything up nice and tight. It inpressed me so much that I bought the book the creator had wrote of a bunch of short stories and read the whole thing in a day. Certain episodes of that show will definitely stay with me.

AMC did cancel tha show? Yikes, had no idea. Their loss I suppose. It has really picked up in seasons 4 and 5. Been really good to me.

And I agree about Bojack, it covered mental illness and struggles with addiction really well. I didn't even know it was coming to an end but if it had to end, this was a good spot.
