    Smile Best Classical Films

I do enjoy watching any movie genre as long as it has an awesome plot and great actors. I also enjoy Classical movies as well. At first, I thought it would be boring and less entertaining especially black and white films but I was totally wrong. There are many classic films that I truly love and my top would be It's A Wonderful Life It's a heartwarming Christmas Fantasy/Drama film and it really is amazing. I'm also eyeing on 12 Angry Men and Casablanca as many have said that it's a must see.

I'm not a big fan of such movies but I did watch one of these, the title was Witness for the Prosecution. I thought it was boring since it was kinda old, well it was boring but if you're into the story and not into how the movie was made and how the lines were delivered, I think these kinds of movies aren't that bad. When it comes to classics, all I can remember is The Godfather though I'm not pretty sure if you would consider that one a classic, for me, it is.

I really dig some of the old Eeroll Flynn movies like Captain Blood and The Adventures of Robin Hood. We don't get a lot of classical swashbucklers these days and their simplicity those movies are appealing since they are just trying to be fun movies instead of big epics. I also dig a lot of older WW2 movies like Hell is For Heroes, The Dirty Doezen and Where Eagles Dare, the latter is a really awesome movie. It's slow paced but it has some great action as well as some good performances from it's actors, especially Clint Eastwood.

What I really dig are the Universal horror movies. They have a kind of gothic elegance that you don't get from modern horror movies anymore. I particularly like The Wolf Man and The Invisible Man.

If you like samurai then watch Seven Samurai, one of the most influential and highly regarded films ever made. I don't know if you consider it a classic but I recommend Chinatown too.

When it comes to classical films, my all time favorite movie is Cleopatra with Elizabeth Taylor. This is closely followed by Dr Zhivago. Those two movies I've watched over and over through the years and I will continue to do so till my old age. I've seen remakes of them but they never really compare to the original ones.
