Anyone ever watch Law and Order?

I really like crime dramas and Law and Order pretty much fits my cup of tea when I come home and turn on the TV. There are different spin offs to the original but my favorite is Criminal Intent. Oh Detective Goren...

*cough* So, have you ever watched Law and Order or its spin offs and which was your favorite?

I used to watch it when I had an interest in TV lol (aka 5-7 years ago). I basically watched anything back then including NCIS, CSI, 24, and a ton of other cop shows. Fringe was the best one I found and then I watched all seasons of it online, best Sci-Fi/police show I've ever seen, brilliant. I remember Law and Order being good though, I might check it again someday. Also somehow you reminded me of Criminal Minds, I used to love that show. Time to look it up.

Man, now you made me remember Criminal Minds and I have to go back and watch it again since it won't leave my mind. Thanks a lot

    Ah yeah, great shows.

Law & Order SVU all the way.

The stuff this show gets away with on prime-time television is awe-inspiring, truly.

I used to watch Law and Order, but never the original series (the oldest). They just couldn't hold my interest. I'd seen a few episodes of Criminal Intent, but it wasn't it. And then I'd found Law and Order: UK with Freema Agyeman (Aleesha) and Ben Daniels (James) - I'd never and I really mean never seen a better crime series! It was stunning, just perfect. Later on, Daniels left and they got another actor, but it simply wasn't the same. That's when I stopped watching it and turned to NCIS, Criminal Minds and many others, including Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are great!!) and Silent Witness, but this last one is so unpopular (unfortunately - it's a great series) I don't think anyone else watches it but me.

I used to go through a phase where I loved these styles of shows. Now, I am more into clever and witty shows that make me laugh. These law shows are not as fast paced as the other mystery shows I watch which is why I stopped watching them altogether. My interest level usually fades in the middle of the show because the case is sometimes so obvious that you feel like you could've wrote the show yourself!
