Classic games still worth playing today?

I consider classic games to be at least 15 years old so anything prior to 2005 though I would bump that back to 2004 just because of the shift in gaming that happened that year.

What are some classic games that you feel as still worth playing today?

Do you want a fucking essay or something? Give me a couple of days and I'll have a list you'll never finish. NEVER.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

I'm in the same boat. I feel that most classical games are still worth playing though I admit to being biased since I still play a lot of classic games. Doom is a great example that not only holds up well but it's super accessible. You don't need a powerful PC. You just need any old computer, a good source port and you're good to go. Goldeneye 007 for the N64 holds up especially if you run it on an emulator so you get a buttery smooth 60 FPS. I mean, there's not a lot of old games that I would say just did not age well. All the old beat 'em ups like Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, ect. are still just as fun to play as they were back then. Honestly, if I made a list then the post would probably never end.
