Do you enjoy any anime related/based video games?

The only ones I have ever played were the dragon ball z fighting ones. Other than that, I can't say I played any based on an anime. Well, I used to play Pokemon so that is another one but still... I know there has to be alot more out there I am missing out on. Share some that you have played and enjoyed, I may check them out!

They can be new or old.

There was a game called Gungrave for the PS2. It was Max Payne on steroids where you can dive around and waste tons of goons and destroying the enviornment added to your gauge that you can use for special attacks from your gun coffin. It was a lot of fun. The anime that came out a few years later was awesome as well. I did enjoy Fist of The North Star: Ken's Rage AKA Hokuto Muso. I know that a lot of folks aren't fond of the muso games, but I thought it lend itself well to Fist of the North Star. Performing the 100 crackfist of the north star on a large group of bandits never gets old.

I have most of the Bleach fighting games on DS/GBA and I love them. Still play them now on occasion. I tried the one for Wii, but it sucked. Forced motion controls ruined it. I also have J-Star Victory Vs for PS3, and it's a blast. It even has Kuroko from Kuroko's basketball and Hinata from Haikyu!! As assist characters. I got one of the One Piece Dynasty Warriors games as well as the 3rd Gundam Warriors game. Both are fantastic.
I just wish America got more of them.

I did play and enjoy some old school Dragon Ball games back when I was a kid. The next game that is anime based that I enjoyed even if I just played it for a short time was Naruto since I really love the anime. I also want to try playing One Piece games but I don't have the console as of now so I just watch some clips on Youtube.

Most of the Dragon Ball games I played were pretty good. If you consider God Hand an anime based game (it obviously pays homage to Fist of the North Star) then that game was as fun too, but also really frustrating.

Probably the game I've played the most in the last couple of years is 100% Orange Juice. It's a party/board game. Think anime version of Mario Party with a focus on cards. It's seriously addictive and great to play with friends, especially given how cheap it usually is. The developer has also made many other anime-style games.

One of the coolest things is how the developers are so helpful and constantly update the game. It looks rather different to the above video and there are several dozen more cards and loads of new characters. I highly recommend it, especially if we're going to set up some kind of Nexus Gaming Night sometime. (I can never seem to arrange this successfully... )

I have played Dragon ball as well and I did enjoyed it. I've also played Clannad and Spirit Warrior and both are great I've played Clannad on PC as well as PlayStation 3 while Spirit Warrior in Nintendo. I really miss playing these games as it was a part of my childhood
