Thread: Favorite character death

So we have all seen many character deaths, and we know that there are a lot of them, but which one would be your favorite? When you consider the plot, character depth, soundtrack behind that scene, last words. Mine would be Tali from Mass Effect, her death struck me hard, and I wasn't even expecting it since she died on my third or fourth playthrough, and every time before she always lived. So it was all of the sudden for me, but it was a very touching end.

That's right, I'm talking about Mike. If you didn't know him, he was an ace helicopter pilot before a rocket-propelled grenade saw that he never got that drink his friend promised him just moments before. I still miss you, buddy.

I totally love the scene from One Piece where White Beard fought until he died. I never saw anyone from any anime that I have watched that died standing tall. Great scene and great arc in One Piece I have ever watched.

Is this about video games or anime?

Heihachi Mishima's death, yeah he alread died three or four times but i'm talking about his death in Tekken 7.
It really made me feel pity for such an a A-you know what, and this is proof that a scenario is great : when is makes you feel bad for a despicable character.

In terms of anime...probably the famous example would be
