    GoodOldGames (gog.com) Summer Sale

I'm a little late with this, but it only just crossed my mind. GoodOldGames (http://www.gog.com/) are having their annual summer sale and there's a ton of great offers. They mostly do (DRM-free) old PC games from the late 90s/early 2000s (hence the name) but their library has some modern stuff too. If you haven't used GoG before, I can vouch that it's definitely reliable.

Thought some people might be interested in checking it out before the sale ends.

Yes, I'm very aware of this sale but I'm a real sucker for Steam games so I get all of my games on there. (And elsewhere as Steam codes, such as bundles.) There's some pretty good stuff here, and even games that are better patched than the Steam re-releases.

Oh yeah, Steam is my primary platform as well. Their summer sale is obviously on a much, much larger scale, but this was mainly for people who hadn't heard of the site but were interested in getting some old games that Steam doesn't have for cheap, or for people who knew about the site but not the sale, since it's easy to miss. Generally, I'm more open to getting games from multiple distributors (yes, even Origin) since I don't really mind if they're not centralised.

They're actually just 'GOG' nowadays, and carry lots of new games and movies as well

But I'm also more of a Steam fan really, and prefer to do my purchases there, especially since I don't really play older games that much myself. I have collected many of their free games, but as you might guess I have hardly played any of them. Although I do have that Broken Sword in there...

Still, good to let people know!
