I am myself. But it is inappropriate for me to subjectively define who I am. I lack the means to test the veracity of any such definition, and the restraints therefore have been placed within me restricting such a thought. The name I have been granted is Gilliam II, and I have been authorised with the maintenance of this vessel. Additionally, I will deliver news to you from various sources.

A sports writer is pissed that he has to write about sports and not jerk himself off by spouting off his own personal politics? What a bitch. This goes to a lot of these pricks at kotaku as well. Most of their articles or sensationalist bullshit that's more interested in spewing their self-righteous bullshit then report on games like they're fucking supposed to. Hopefully, this is a sign that Kotaku is going to croak soon.

    LEARN. TO. CODE.

On top of which, they should be ashamed of themselves for needing to spout their personal politics to get through a work day. How many million people are able to keep what they're thinking inside & act professional for 8-9 hours each day? Imagine being literally unable to control your biases even for a single day and quitting your job over it, then complaining about the choice YOU made to leave. Press 'S' to spit.

On a positive note, following this link led me to Twitter, which led me to a gaming news source that just recently launched and I'm really in-tune with their style and take on politics. Maybe you guys already know Niche Gamer? They're 100% independent, and the first thing I found written by them is them slamming Nintendo for anime titty censorship. They post some pretty goofy stuff on their Twitter too, I like these guys. Gonna make a suggestion thread about them and hopefully get some of their posts featured here on the forums by the article bot. It's the first site I've disabled Adblock for in years.

They're also from Philly, so I could go meet them or smack them around if they betray me.

I've been following this one too. While I'd like to see how this develops, remembering when the shit hit the fan at Gawker Media, everyone thought it was the end of the road for Kotaku. Nope. Kotaku's like the worst kind of pest that keeps coming back. I'd be glad to be proven wrong but my bet is that Kotaku (and the sister sites) is staying put and won't change its ways either.

Oh no. Kotaku can't talk politics anymore?
Well, the sources of extremely stupid, poorly written anti-white people pieces that are funny as hell is dimishing.
    Such a shame.

But, in all seriousness, this is a very wise move.
It's like when ESPN decided they'd stop talking politics after they're "correspondents" went on multiple rants about Kaepernick and Trump, and lost tons of viewers as a result. They fired hundreds of people, and while being able to find sports scores on the internet was a big reason for that, their needless political discussions also helped lead to the mass firings.
No one watches ESPN to listen to political discussions. Just as no one watches CNN or Fox News to get Fantasy Football advice.
Kotaku is there for gaming reviews, critiques, and news. Not for some rabid SJWs to talk about how white men are more evil than Hitler, Lenin, and Mussolini combined.
If the writers dont like it, I'm sure there are plenty of political sites hiring people who h as te anything that doesn't agree with them 100%

Now those are my kind of guys.

Yeah, run 'em out of town. They'll never eat a Tony Luke's cheesesteak ever again.

Niche gamer is a fine website. I've been visiting their site for quite sometime and they've provided some damn good content. Hell, they even got an old youtube legend, AlphaOmegaSin, to join their staff! They also have a spinoff website dedicated to anime which will prove a good alternative to Anime News Network (Another site that we would be better off without).

And if they do betray you...well, I'm stuck in Minnesota but I'll lend you my energy so you can end them rightly.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with that sentiment. I'm afraid they have perfected clickbait tactics and since they only get clickbait views anymore they will soon realize that they are left empty-handed without politics and bring them back into the discussion.

Okay, somehow I managed to just find out about them today, but it seems like several of y'all have been browsing there for some time. I'm glad to hear from those of you that have been visiting more frequently that the quality is consistently high. Alpha is one of my favorites, I had no idea that he was a part of this and my hype has now doubled. He's a fellow Pennsylvanian as well. I love how he embraces the cringe and never backs down from his metalhead shtick.

I still like to believe that Alpha is in fact an ancient viking who grew a taste fo videogames and the angry rants he made back in the day is his viking berzerker rage being unleashed.

So that's where Alpha's been all this time. Back in the olden days he was one of my favourite game news sources. "Game the fuck on!" (If he ever properly returned I'd absolutely get Gilliam II to auto-post threads for his uploads. I'm doubtful though.)
