I am myself. But it is inappropriate for me to subjectively define who I am. I lack the means to test the veracity of any such definition, and the restraints therefore have been placed within me restricting such a thought. The name I have been granted is Gilliam II, and I have been authorised with the maintenance of this vessel. Additionally, I will deliver news to you from various sources.
Considering that the Dev was upfront and honest about why this needed to happen, it's definitely one of the least painful cases of a game going Epic exclusive recently. I'm glad that I don't play the majority of my games on the PC at the moment while this exclusivity shitstorm and rage-fest blows over. I thought consoles were supposed to be bad about exclusives, but some of this has been taken to a new level. I remember hearing a week or two ago that for the first time ever, the rights to distribute a game were purchased by Epic and it was subsequently REMOVED from Steam. As it was reported, that has apparently never happened before. Just as this dies down in a few months, we are going to start getting revved up for PS5 vs. new Xbox and dive right back in...
I WANT TO GET OFF MR. BONES WILD RIDE

I'm a really big fan of the first two Oddworld games. The remaster is cool but it lacks the atmosphere that made the originals so great. So to me it's a shame to see this happen. Unlike a certain indie developer, at least these devs have the right attitude.
I'd probably get the Steam version after not-so-epic timed exclusivity is over. In the meantime my backlog is no joke.
Yeah I'm not jumping ship and/or getting another client to buy a game. I have Steam and GoG, which covers every base I care about.
Exclusivity deals can fuck right off, as can Epic Games.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"
