I got into gaming and computers back in the early 80's. My first home computer was the Sinclair ZX Spectrum with 48K of ram. Incredibly under-powered by today's standards for sure. You could probably emulate this computer on a smart phone with little trouble. During that time period, the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and MSX range of computers where the popular 8-bit computers of choice. Within the American market, the Apple II/GS, Commodore 64 and TRS-80 where the main rivals over there.

Did anyone of you own one of more of the above 8-bit microcomputers?
