I am myself. But it is inappropriate for me to subjectively define who I am. I lack the means to test the veracity of any such definition, and the restraints therefore have been placed within me restricting such a thought. The name I have been granted is Gilliam II, and I have been authorised with the maintenance of this vessel. Additionally, I will deliver news to you from various sources.

Ahh. Now I know why Starwind55 changed his mind and decided to get Doom Eternal instead of Animal Crossing.

This game is really blowing up, but I don't know if it's just soyboys or if it's actually good.

If I had a Switch, I would probably give it a go. It seems like it is mostly appealing to 20 something guys though which is... weird. I guess maybe this is down to them making the bulk of gaming streamers and YouTubers. Just hopping on a popular game. I like these kinds of games though myself.

Most popular reviewers are male, but the core animal crossing playerbase is female for sure. I knew so many girls in high school and college who lived on those games, even my sister put a few hundred hours into New Leaf.
My wife is asking me to buy the new one on Switch bit i can't see myself spending $60 just yet for a game she may be too busy to play.

Damn, I very vaguely recall Animal Crossing: Wild World I got on the Nintendo DS waaaay back... nearly fifteen years ago! I remember jack shit about it, just that it was enjoyable. I'm less open-minded about games these days and probably wouldn't enjoy that genre.

Yep, my first few dates with my first (serious) gf were laying out in her yard in the Summer until 1am or later handing her DS back and forth playing Wild World.

I can't remember how much time was on her save file but i'm sure it was an irresponsible number of hours.

Whenever I get to talking about Animal Crossing, i need to go back and listen to this song:
    YouTube

Those summer nights were so innocent and quaint, it's hard to remember them without my mind immediately adding a cheesy sepia filter like a movie flashback. It's the kind of thing that's SO sweet, if it were an anime you'd expect someone to die in the next scene for sure.
