Alright, after seeing a good number of these I couldn't resist anymore.

It's 22 degrees in Austin today.
Nearly froze my nipples off. :S
BUT! I have my trusty coat and homemade scarf.
So I survive to freeze another day.

Battlestar Galactica marathon kept me up till the wee hours yesterday.
So I got up a 11 am today, breakfast on the fly.
Been running and gunnin' all day after my late start.

Japanese was first, it was fine.
Learned some new phrases.
"Is this a margarita? No? GARH!"

Then came Russian Sci-fi and Lit.
Learned that you can commit suicide in a duel.
Fancy that.

Had to take a bonus RTF Production class so I can volunteer for the school TV station.
Learned to use a camera again.

Which made me late for Biology.
I still can't understand my TA's accent.
Figuring out his words keeps me awake though.
He gave us a quiz, :S
CURSE YOU POLYPEPTIDES!!!

Last event of the day was a meeting for the TV show I'm hoping to work on.
We introduced ourselves by picking an AILF (Animal I'd like to...) and what song to make love by.
It's going to be sweet though.
Going to make some awesome shorts with my buddy.

Now, after the homework of course,
I'm chilling on OSUK,
watching season 4.5 of Battlestar Galactica,
and doing the nightly push ups.
Oo-rah. 8)

Sounds like a decent day. I've been meaning to check out Battlestar Galactica/Stargate. I never get round to it though. Ooh, learning Japanese, huh? I used to in a beginner's class. I'd really like to start learning again as I've forgotten more or less everything I had learned. After all, it was over five years ago. Sounds like you enjoy learning languages a lot.

Japanese is apparently one of the toughest languages to learn if you're a native English speaker.

Russian scifi sounds pretty interesting, but the only one I can think of off the top of my head is We. I may have to look into the subject, any recommendations?

Twas indeed.
You really should, they're both great shows that I've been watching this school year.
Stargate is definitely the lighter of the two, but you peg me as more the serious type.
Battlestar should be right up your alley.
It's fun, I'm actually doing it to read the Outlaw Star manga.

We is actually a required reading.
I would recommend another one of our texts to you.
It's calls Worlds Apart. It is more of a study of Russian Lit.
However, if you skip the boring analysis and read the actual stories it's pretty sweet.
We are reading this novella called Heart of a Dog, I'll let you know if it's any good.

About Japanese, yes it is.
Kanji is the devil. However my friend actually found a list of the hardest languages.
Basque took numero uno, Japanese took fifth just before Russian.

Class was canceled today due to icy conditions.
Texans freak when it snows.
Which means I got to sleep in for a good long time.
Day didn't start till 12.

Went to the post office again, this time with friends.
They actually had my package this time.
Twas my retainer, I had left it elsewhere you see and had it sent back to me.

We continued our hike in 20 degree weather to ye ol' bus stop.
Waited about 50 minutes for the darn thing.
Brought us to the car so that we could go gallivanting.

Ended up a Taco Cabana, "More food less dinero!"
I accidentally threw my retainer away with the trash.
Did not realize this until we had already left for Barnes and Noble.

Dropped off my buddies and rushed back to the restaurant.
They showed me where they kept the trash pending dumpster throw out.
Unfortunately they were unsure of which one contained the pricey dental appliance.
I searched through two garbage bags with trusty plastic gloves.
Found it!
The folks their were also nice enough to lend me some disinfectant.

Got back to my peeps.
The book store had closed early due to the weather.
Pfft, pansies.

We returned to campus, and attempted to park at a garage.
Their ticket distribution machine which allows entry was malfunctioning.
To make matters worse, there wasn't an attendant in sight.
Had to finagle a way in.

So yeah, it's been a interesting day.

XD sounds like a weather control device that has a 'snow' button would be the ultimate doomsday device for Texas.

Glad you got your retainer back, I'd hate to lose mine like that! I tend to be pretty paranoid with it.

Seems like we've got freakishly cold weather across the States - I mean, I'm pretty sure Hell freezes over more readily than does Texas. =P
