The game went overkill with the unskippable cutscenes but hot damn did this game have great music.

Been on a chiptune binge lately, especially ones that have been injected with the 8-bit audio steroid known as VRC6. I may consider posting a thread dedicated to Famicom audio expansion chips in the future, but the VRC6 is more of a true expansion of the NES sound without sounding too "advanced", if that makes sense. Just got out of the shower listening to IsabelleChiming's VRC6 cover of the original Legend of Zelda soundtrack. Here's a link to their playthrough below:

Also Bandcamp: The Legend of Zelda Remade | IsabelleChiming

EDIT: HELP, I totally forgot how to post YouTube links in video format, oops!
A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him. What awaits him down the path he will then have to choose; the boy doesn't always know. At some point the boy then becomes an adult, and learns what he was able to become. Joy and sadness will forever accompany this. He is confronted with a choice; when this happens, does he bid his past farewell in his heart? Once a boy becomes an adult, he can no longer go back to being a boy; the boy is now a man. Only one thing can be said: "A boy has the right to dream.". For those endless possibilities are stretched out before him.

We must remember...all men were once boys.

Im not sure how to post links or embeds but I have definitely been listening to a lot of new funk and old swing lately. Favorites right now definitely being Something Stupid by Lola Marsh and Them Changes by Thundercat!

This song always tugs at the heartstrings. What a banger of a soundtrack.

YouTube's pretty simple. There's an icon that looks like a coloured film reel next to the picture frame. You just click that and paste the YouTube URL. When using the app, the way that I do it is enclosing the URL in a [video] tag. I'm sure it can be way simpler than that but old habits die hard. I added a way to embed Bandcamp tracks and albums. You can see the guide I wrote for that here. (Bandcamp only works on the desktop site though.) I never actually gave this Bandcamp embed its own guide thread because I thought no one would use it except me.

Here are both of these embedded:

Ahhhhh you missed an opportunity there! I was fully expecting Shuffle or Boogie.

Anyway, I've been listening to a lot of Yameii recently.

Listening to this music that started playing in my head while CleanTalk temporarily messed up the forum when the trial ended:
