Thread: Rate the Song Above You

This concept is simple, but really fun. Person one posts a song, then person 2 rates that song out of 10, with an explanation for said rating. Person 2 also posts a new song. Person 3 repeats.

ALSO: avoid posting links to songs with excessive swearing. Just not good for a forum.

Maybe not quite up there in the pantheon of great anime OPs, but still lively and up-tempo enough to sort of capture the overall freewheeling spirit of the series and a good counterweight to the more somber and almost mournful 'Hiro no Tsuki' at the end of the first half of episodes.

I'm probably not the best person to rate this since I've never been a fan of metal, but based on the humor factor and the hilarity of the video I'm going to have to give that a solid 7/10. Why don't we see music videos like this anymore? ...Oh, and then motherfucking John Rambo appeared. Okay, make that a 7.5/10.

I think it's time we tipped the scales a little bit so here's a quality banger from our little Syd Barret in the making.

I have to give those kids credit, they are actually pretty good musicians for their age. That and they have a song that many people can relate to, me included. They are getting a solid 8/10 from me.

Oh, and how about some old school style j-pop tune?

I give it a 7 because I can't understand a thing? Is that Japanese? The tune is great though, really hits the spot.
