    Have spin-offs ever been considered?

I always thought a story that revolved around one of the main characters as their own show/story would have been cool. I don't know if this has ever been done but I would have liked to see it done with Aisha Clanclan. Maybe from when she was younger and around her own planet. I know there is enough background with her to do it and make it really good.

Has anything like this ever been considered that you know of?

If one were to be made, which character would you like to be the main focus?

The closest we ever got was Angel Links that involved Valeria Vertone and Duuz Delax Rex from "Law and Lawlessness" with a brief cameo from Fred Lo in episode one for like 2 seconds. Otherwise, from Mantis's research of Outlaw Star 2 documents that there were no other spin-offs were considered, but a possible prequel maybe I think. Its been awhile since I read it. A good and recommended read, but Angel Links is all we got. I would love to have seen a Aisha ClanClan spin-off sequel and/or prequel, but my fear would be it wouldn't hold up to Outlaw Star itself like Angel Links was. Holding hope for an stand alone movie like Trigun and Cowboy Bebop got or an OVA. Not going to hold my breath though, but can hope.
We are all insane, we just act normal for the sake of others.

Sweet Lord above, what I'd pay for a Hot Ice Hilda prequel leading up to stealing the XGP 15-AII.
No one's gonna' give you a map. You've gotta' walk your own path.

I actually revisited the article Idolo mentioned for my new Outlaw Star website but I really want to keep the site behind closed doors until most of it's complete, and I've slacked on it for a good while. I formed some new opinions though and added some extra points. I think that Takehiko Ito's Outlaw Star 2: Sword of Wind actually ended up becoming Angel Links since Ito (unlike with the Outlaw Star anime) was the mastermind behind Angel Links, just like Sword of Wind. And just like Sword of Wind (though I think I discussed this in the original article) Fred visited the Oracion system in Angel Links as a cameo appearance. I think it was shortly after he appeared in Angel Links that his spacecraft blew up and Gene saved him, but obviously we don't get to see that since Angel Links is its own show.

There's plenty more to learn about Outlaw Star 2 in the dozens of documents I have. I just need to translate them. I believe there were more spin-offs, but as a retelling of Outlaw Star (the anime) in manga form. There might have also been a proposed manga about the anime Hilda, but I need to research that more thoroughly.
