Watching for the 7th, 8th or 9th Time Now Heh

Yeah its been about 2 or so months since watching Outlaw Star, and never grow tired of it after so many years. Anyone else been on it again? And how would you change anything if you re-imagined of the series?

Either way, what a coolzy sci-fi anime this one is. If Star Wars' Han Solo would've seen this one I don't know how he would feel but put a smirk on it

Gosh, I don't know how many times I've watched Outlaw Star, but since I'm currently writing about it I'm yet again watching it. Like you, I never grow tired! I do try to leave a little time between each watch. When something new comes along, I'm pumped to watch again! The Toonami censored version is hella fun.

Hmmm. If I could leave the original alone and instead decide on a reboot, I'd pick a more faithful adaptation of the manga. When you've read most of the manga, it's fascinating how different they are.

Actually (now that you mentioned it), Outlaw Star's creator, Takehiko Ito, is quite a big fan of Star Wars.

I've probably watched the entire show front-to-back like 3 times, not counting on Toonami where I likely missed an episode or two. I'v watched up through Episode 8-9 about 30 times, and that is usually where my friend/acquaintence loses interest or we call it for the night and never pick it back up again.

Does the Blu-Ray edition contain any deleted scenes or extra content of any kind? I want to justify watching it again but I just finished a run a few weeks ago and I feel stupid starting another so quickly.

I saw it when it first aired on Toonami back in the day, rediscovered it in high school, and have been watching it at least once or twice a year since lol. That's not counting the periods of time where the show's my "go-to-sleep" choice- I basically bounce between a select few shows to throw on while I'm in bed as background light/noise lol. But yeah, other than that it doesn't get old! I feel like the only thing better than rewatching it is showing it to somebody new lol
