    Wendee Lee "Twilight" Suzuka Autograph

I just couldn't turn this opportunity down as I very rarely see these types of OLS merch for sale, and it was surprisingly cheaper than I expected. I got a few dollars off when I made an offer. I think this is really cool.

Bought it yesterday so it'll probably take a couple of weeks to arrive. I think that the marker colour looks quite beautiful and the fact it's the very first time we see Suzuka (aside from the opening, duh) makes it meaningful.

Nevertheless I doubt I'll cherish it quite as much as the Aisha autograph I got sent by hunterryan89. (Thanks again man!) You may not have seen that one but I did tweet it. The fact Lenore Zann added an OLS-themed note and my pseudonym makes it more special to me. While I don't have a photo of Lenore during the signing (maybe Hunter took one?) I do have one of Wendee Lee during the signing event. (Not signing this specific print though, unfortunately.)

I've still got to hunt some level of communication or an autograph from other Outlaw Star VAs. I already had more of an interaction with one of my favourite anime character (Melfina) VAs than most other anime fans when I worked with Emilie Brown to dub the pilot trailer.

I did mention at least one time that Peter Spellos, Gilliam II's VA, joined my now-deleted Outlaw Star Facebook group (it was the most popular at the time) to promote his appearance at a con. I tried to reciprocate by asking about an interview, but he didn't get back to me and sadly it seems he hadn't found a lot of work after the earlier 2000s.

I don't have an autograph from Gene or Jim's VAs (Bob Buchholz and Brianne Siddall) but I'm really hoping that I'll have the chance for an interview at some point. I never interviewed Emilie Brown and I kinda feel I should have when we were exchanging a number of emails, but didn't want to overwhelm her.

You may be able to guess what I'd consider the holy grail of this: an interview with the Outlaw Star mastermind, Takehiko Ito. We have got to make that happen one day. The last time this happened with an English interviewer was around fifteen years ago, but they didn't really go far into things like Toward Stars lore. Given that the team I work with has two Japanese people and a Japanese translator, I do believe that there's hope. I have tracked him down and he read my message (that was professionally translated) but didn't reply. I guess I should be happy that senpai noticed me, but I didn't want to push this if he really doesn't want to talk about it. (It was probably six years ago when I sent him the message.)

Hahaha, you spent yout time and money shopping online a lot more efficiently than I did yesterday...(assuming the purchase was made then).
I picked up a copy of King of Crusher last night. Look it up, you won't be disappointed. Or maybe you will, but you'll still laugh.
Go and I were working hard on the SW translation and needed a break so we looked for dumb Japan-only PS1 games and settled on that one.

Very nice find on the autograph! I've met plenty of VA's (not for OLS) at anime conventions and have a handful of signatures so I know how exciting it can be to have that in one's personal collection. Good for you!

That seems pretty weird (and I guess kinda bad) but I'm seen much weirder PS1 games. (Let's not derail this though. ) Yeah, it was last night, probably late evening in your time.

Awesome find! As far as interviews go, it'd be cool to get the main cast back together as sort of a mini-reunion interview though an interview with even just one of them would be awesome, especially Bob since we don't really hear him that often. If Takehiko Ito never respond, I supposed it wouldn't hurt to ask especially since it was so long ago since you last contacted him.

That's awesome, dude! That picture is really nice, and the blue of the autograph compliments it really nicely.
Besides it being Suzuka, it's of Wendee Lee. One of the best American voice actresses alive.
    That's an amazing buy!
