Thread: Won: Aisha Clanclan Official Garage Kit

I won this beauty on Yahoo Auctions today and it might take a few weeks to arrive.

I'm getting in touch with the model painting guy who reproduced and painted the other OLS garage kits. Hopefully we can work something out and you guys can finally get a painted Aisha. It would probably set you back a bit over $100 for a painted model if he agrees, which isn't a bad price considering the work that's put into it.

Since I've been looking for this for over half a decade I'm feeling pretty good right now.

I'll make a note and try to remember to send you an e-mail once I have an update from the model painter. Could take a while since the model hasn't arrived yet and when it does I'll need to send it to Mexico, and then Carlos (the shop owner) needs to do his thing. Check back in case I end up forgetting.

Haha, I thought you'd like this news the most! The only "bad" news is that because he's tired of eBay's policies and fees (I don't blame him) he decided to not sell his models there anymore, so you'll need to do it through the website. After talking to the guy we agreed on the same thing as before (I send the kit and get the kit and a painted model back) and I'll also probably provide a voucher code for his store. (You can find the other models by searching for Melfina, Melfia or the XGP.)

I'll keep you posted.

Sir, I know not your name, but I would follow you to hell and back. This is a Christmas miracle.

I got the kit yesterday. I've put two scans of the manual on Twitter. There are two more pages in the manual but they're in Japanese, so no point in uploading. Anyway, you can see them here. In the next couple of days I hope to send the kit to Carlos.

Hey, I wanted to ask. I ordered the Melfina and Melfia kits from him a couple of weeks ago. I was just wondering if you knew how long it usually takes for the order to arrive.

I believe at the time I ordered those I maintained OSN on the Facebook page which no longer exists, so I'm not certain. At a guess I'd say 3-4 weeks. These were for painted/assembled models. Also if you're American it should take a little less time as I'm British.

I'd give it another week before worrying. Didn't you get a tracking number?
