RE: Skill that you want to develop

I'd love to learn a language, I always liked German in school :)

I don't know much about my ancestry either :)

I do know that I have French blood on my mother's side, and that I'm about one eighth Jewish on my father's side. My dad likes looking into his...

    RE: Hypothetical Time-Travel Question.

If it wasn't a one way trip I'd take a camera and go back to ancient Greece. It'd be fascinating to have photos of the temples and buildings before they became ruins :)

    But since it is... I...

If you could bring one person back to life...

....who would it be? Someone famous? Or someone from your own life? Any and all answers are relevant, just explain why :)

And it wouldn't be back to life as in zombie-style, I mean proper...

RE: Are you the same person in real life?

In some ways, I'm exactly the same offline as online :) I have the same sense of humour and I don't feel I'm pretending to be someone I'm not. I type as I think in my head.

    I am less talkative...

RE: Post something great that happened today

My great thing today was learning that our car insurance payments this year might be a whole 200 a month less than last year :D

    Fantastic news!

  12. RE: Doomsday Preppers: Crazy People or Smart Planning

See Garth, that just sounds smart, not over-the-top crazy :)

RE: Pepsi or' Coca Cola ?

Definitely coke :) a lot of bars here have pepsi though. I don't hate it, but for preference I'd rather have a coke.

RE: When will the zombie/vampire genre end?

    It'll never end!

People are fascinated with it. Vampires are sexy and cool, zombies are weird and disgusting... people love the supernatural genre, maybe because with vampires for example, it...
  15. RE: Doomsday Preppers: Crazy People or Smart Planning

I don't think it's a bad idea to be prepared for certain emergencies... if you live in an area prone to natural disasters for example, making sure you're as set up as you can be can't hurt.

    But...

One of the few Will Ferrell films I actually like.

    RE: Is violence really avoidable?

Violence is generally avoidable. I think if you're unlucky you might end up in a situation where you've got no choice but on an everyday basis, I think violence is really the last resort.

  23. Poll: RE: Do you like subtitles or dubbed when watching anime?

I prefer dubbing, but only if it's decent. I haven't exactly seen tons of anime but if it's good dubbing then it doesn't detract at all, but if it's awful, it makes more sense to just have subtitles...
