Angry Kid tries to go Super-Saiyan on camera

I understand a few of the things this kid is saying, like how convenient it would be to have super powers. But... this... this is preposterous!

    Know what I'm saiyan?
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

RE: Kid tries to go Super-Saiyan on camera

I had to keep taking breaks toward the end, I was laughing too much. Wow. Just wow. Not so much "Super Saiyan" as "Supercar with a shit driver who doesn't know when he should be changing gears".

Seriously though, I'll admit I tried doing this once. I was so pissed off when I couldn't transform, I felt like I'd been lied to. Then I read the Budokai 3 manual again and realised that I had to unlock transformations like every other skill in the game, which just made me feel really stupid, especially as I should have known this after playing the previous two games.

I was also using Krillin, so god knows what I was thinking.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

RE: Kid tries to go Super-Saiyan on camera

I felt like he was gonna get somewhere with his rant, because the beginning had a really good setup. Our only limit is ourselves, and once we set our mind to something, anything is possible. We really have limitless potential.

Then cue two minutes of yelling. I have to admit though, as a kid I wasn't all that different. I wanted to become a Super Saiyan, have a giant spaceship with arms that have guns in them for some reason, and find a hot anime babe. But why live in fantasy when we live in an amazing world?

Despite all that, if someone came up to me and told me I could have all my fantasies come true, but all I have to do is yell for two minutes...well...cue two minutes of yelling.

This would've been an awesome video to add effects to as well. Just think if he actually got the whole Super Saiyan makeover, and just freaking flew out of his house. Best (potential) video ever.

Then you might want to watch this "special effects" version...

RE: Kid tries to go Super-Saiyan on camera

I call shenanigans. Even the farmer with a shotgun started with a power level of 5! Nobody starts with 0! And a Super Saiyan transformation at a mere power level of 10,000? He would've been BARELY better than Vegeta back when Goku fought him on Earth! Goku had a power level of about 150,000,000 when he went Super Saiyan, it's a multiplier! CLEARLY THIS IS FAKE!

Lol, so is "Kid trying to go Super Saiyan" a new meme?

He'd have been much weaker. About 8,000 weaker. Curbstomp!

That video though. Oh man. A video for the ages if there ever was one.

RE: Kid tries to go Super-Saiyan on camera

The video has been removed by Youtube.

Too bad I can't see it, but you know there has been quite some kids obsessed with Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. It is perfectly normal for them trying to be "as cool" as the super seiya.

It is not all that new though. I remember reading the manga in early 1990s, and I heard classmates in middle school chatting about how Goku blew away Cell's head.

Haha, was the copyright claim from the kid himself? Anyway, new videos, including an even better edited version. (First video is the original, second is edited.) I'm sure when you watch these, you'll agree it certainly isn't perfectly normal. Perfectly abnormal, perhaps.
