You ever given this a try or do you have reasons not to? While I've never been to a casino before I see nothing wrong with responsible gambling. I bet on Brexit (leave) and Donald Trump and of course won both times, but they were pretty low stakes. Still, I made around £200-300 from them if I recall right. I've now put £150 on the Conservatives winning the UK election. I'll only make around £25 (the odds are very much in favour) from this but I think I'll get a deposit bonus from one of the sites.

I think I'd only do this with political events. I'll admit I don't know a huge deal about politics but I know a lot more than I do about sports. What about you guys? Feelin' lucky?
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

I've only been to an actual casino once, and I enjoyed myself. I only went in with about $60, but I actually walked out with over $150, so I did pretty darn good for myself.
I've also done a College Basketball March Madness bracket with my family, and I've won 2 years in a row with that.

As for my thoughts on gambling, I don't see anything wrong with it, in moderation. If that's how someone wants to spend the money they earn, I say more power to them.

There is no virtue or lack thereof in gambling, only in self-control (and lack thereof, respectively).

I used to think nothing of the Lottery, but it is indeed a form of gambling. So, in that sense, I've gambled since I was old enough.
I don't understand why we need laws preventing children from gambling, outside protecting them from their own ineptitude, which is something parents should be responsible for anyway.

In a broader sense, I think everyone gambles all the time. Living is a series of gambles. We make predictions by watching patterns around us, and then hope those predictions work out. There is an element of chance in virtually every action we take. It just doesn't have to involve money.

I personally enjoy a good game of chance. It's exciting to take risks. Of course, there are good and bad risks. Gotta make sure you pick the good ones, at least most of the time

I do engage in gambling. I have lost many times with the hope of winning. I have since decided to engage in arbitrage betting where the risk is minimised. This has seen me make some profit over the past one month. Gambling can be addictive. One should have discipline so as to maximise profits. I have seen several of my pals lose their hand earned cash due to lack of discipline in gambling.

I've only ever been to a casino to have fun with friends. I play poker and blackjack and it can be really fun to play in a casino live game but I never do it for the money. In fact, in most cases I usually lose money or if I'm lucky I break even at the end of the night. If I want to make money I think I would stand a better chance betting on sports.

I have been in a casino before and just watched there for hours, I never had the idea of playing. I was just there because we were given a small spot where we can sell some of our stuff to the people who are playing. I did try gambling in a back door casino when I was in my teens, once I spent around 4 to 10 dollars I went out. I didn't want to be like other people who do gambling for a living.

I play poker sometimes but I don't really like gambling because the odds rely too much on chance for those of us who aren't in the pro level, and I prefer rather to trade forex online. For some people that might feel like gambling, too, but for me it doesn't because I have the knowledge and the skill to back me up so that I don't have to rely on luck.
