I'm confused.. what happened to the MoTM system

I was going through the Member of The Month thread and noticed that there haven't been any polls since August. I have never voted here so I don't have the slightest clue how the system works. Anyone with any insight for me?

I guess I'm the only one with insight since I'm the sole staff. Though saying that, the forum used to have moderators when it was more active years ago, and that's why I haven't done a Member of the Month recently. When a forum's more active it's a nice thing to have some kind of "award", but very few people have expressed much of an interest in MotM lately. I'm considering Member of the Season in future. It doesn't have as much of a ring to it but it's more appropriate right now.
