How much did you spend on your PC/Laptop?

I am assuming most people on these us either a PC (desktop) or some kind of laptop.

How much did you spend on yours? Was it prebuilt or did you buy it piece by piece?

Mine was made piece by piece. I have since upgraded things in it 3 or 4 times. Not including the monitor or what I have spent on keyboards and mice, I spent around $800.

Quite a lot. I had my last PC for over five years I think, and I believe I upgraded the GPU once, but little else. Even when I got that one it was mid-range at best, so I thought it was time to upgrade about two years ago, and having saved for a while, I figured I'd go with one of the top options that would last me several years. It was about £1400, or around $1850. With the monitor, upgrade to 32GB of RAM and the Z Mouse, probably about $2300.

£400 on a regular pc from Amazon plus £250ish on a GPU... Though been needing to save to upgrade to a gtx 780 ti. So, cheap compared to most pcs if I understand it.

My laptop costs around $600, it's pretty reasonably priced. I was thinking of saving $1,500 before to get a high spec gaming laptop, but I realized that when it comes to gaming, a desktop is better. You can easily upgrade the RAM and GPU as long as you want to, and it's much cheaper too.
