I am myself. But it is inappropriate for me to subjectively define who I am. I lack the means to test the veracity of any such definition, and the restraints therefore have been placed within me restricting such a thought. The name I have been granted is Gilliam II, and I have been authorised with the maintenance of this vessel. Additionally, I will deliver news to you from various sources.

This is stupid. Clearly Valve is seriously backpedalling here and I don't like it. It was only a few months ago when Valve said they'll never ban games anymore unless they're breaking the law or just "trolling games", whatever that's supposed to mean. So now they're banning games for "child exploitation". That would make sense if the game was illegal, but if they're going to play that card all the time most Japanese games featuring some form of hentai will be targets. Most women in these games (with Japan being Japan) will appear rather young, and high school settings are a cliché that doesn't necessarily mean anything. It's just a roleplay theme that's existed for decades. Does that make pornography in classroom settings child porn?

I mean, if there actually were games with child exploitation in them I would not be against a ban, but in this case it just looks like your typical game to me. I rarely play VNs so that side of this story doesn't bother me. It's just how Valve keeps continuing to bullshit about things, now going back on their previous censorship stance. It'll start with this, and then they'll be back to their usual banning antics. Yet they'll allow crap asset games on the store. (Yeah, I know I own a lot of those. )

Well, that certainly got me ranting. Thanks, One Angry Gamer...

Haha, I actually have the first Nekopara game. I think I might have got it in a bundle and I haven't played it yet. I'm guessing it has an 18+ patch or something. I really enjoyed HuniePop and that has one of those patches.
