    Your Favorite Team/Sport?

Figured we could open this part of the forums up with some new topics and hopefully get more people active on this side of the forums.

Do you play sports? Doesn't have to be league based or anything like that. If so, what is it?

Also, what is your favorite team(s) that you like to watch on TV or in person?

Me, I am a big baseball fan, I played in a Softball league (I know it's not the same as Baseball but hey, it's close!) with my brother and my dad for summer league around us.

And for teams, I am from Illinois so I have to support some of my teams, and the reason why I say SOME and not ALL is because I am a Chicago White Sox fan, not a Cubs fan.

I don't mind watching other sports like Hockey and such, but I can't say that I am a big follower of them either. It's basically baseball because when it's baseball season, it's usually good warm weather and that makes me happy

    RE: Your Favorite Team/Sport?

Im a huge Chicago Bears fan and there my all time football team and always will be. Baseball im Atlanta but i just dont get into baseball like i use to. Hockey Might Ducks but i hate there new Uniforms. Nascar Dale Jr cant be from NC and not like Nascar from a family that works at the tracks ever weekend. I was suppose to go Gene starwind to Anime Central like 6-7 years ago. My friend Jenna was going to do Aisha which i know shes really popular Aisha and well known there now. We was suppose to meet up that year she first did her Cosplay and the one that got her to do Aisha actually. So Sad when i found out i couldnt go at the last min and had to tell her i couldnt make it.

(Aisha Clan Clan) I've never seen a ship like this before. It's far behind any C'tarl-C'tarl ship. It won't move unless you're naked! That's very kinky, wouldn't you say?

That sounds really fun, I always wanted to do a casual sport thing, but since I live in the middle of nowhere there aren't many opportunities. I'm a little jealous.

I suppose soccer is my favorite, although the only places I see it on TV are in Mexican restaurants (shoutcasted in Spanish, no comprende). I tried out for the soccer team in high school and got placed on the worst team because I tripped over the ball a lot. Needless to say I am not athletically inclined, but it was enjoyable the two minutes I got to play each game...

Also, American football anyone? I like the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Chicago Bears.

    Boxing.

And not because I'm a huge fan of the sport per se, but because watching certain boxers is just funny. Presenting (and I am being 100% serious here): Tyson Fury!

Yes, that is his name. I am not making this up.

In-ring, the man's a ****ing spud. He currently holds two titles (British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion), but everyone I've asked gives me the same reason for his current success: he gets away with being technically useless because of the huge advantages presented by his incredible height (6'9") and ludicrous reach (85"). It's near-impossible for someone to hit him in the face with any real force, at least not without being lumped one at the same time. If not for these (quite frankly) scary figures, he'd be put on his arse time and time again; as it stands though, he's undefeated in his professional career with 17 wins, 12 by KO.

Oh, and before someone tries to claim he's a great champion, watch this:

While it does take a certain degree of greatness to achieve that, I think I can manage without it.

And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

    RE: Your Favorite Team/Sport?

Basketball is my favorite sport, and my favorite team is the Miami Heat. (To those of you knowledgeable about basketball, I am not a bandwagon fan, I have liked them since the early 2000's). Just expressing that because often people think that I just began liking them when they became an elite team. Now I'm just venting for no reason. lol

    RE: Your Favorite Team/Sport?

I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet. I guess because I don't follow sports too closely. I have always supported the local football (soccer, for you non-Brits) team, Leicester City, and the Rugby team, Leicester Tigers. As for more American sports, I enjoy Basketball, like OSRed1, except the team I like is the Chicago Bulls. I've liked them since the late 90's, during Jordan's later stay at the team. My current favourite player is Derrick Rose. I enjoy playing all of these sports, too, I just don't get to play them very often.

Our Bulls and Heat have had some great matchups in the past. Always entertaining to watch. Let's go Heat! lol

DA BEARS ya huge bears fan here ^^ I am a big Urlacher fan him and devin Hester and Johnny Knox are my favorite players from the team. Sad to say we might not see Johnny next year i hope not but being hes on his last year and needs to be resign and how he is hurt most likely will be cut as we are going after a WR in first round Draft this year i also see more then just 1 WR cut i think Williams will not be there again... but thats me i just think he drops to many balls.. My Opinion he did anywhere when he was playing with other teams to.

Nice, glad to know we have another Bears fan here! I feel like I am by myself on most things, especially when it comes to the White Sox against the Cubs.
