    Tips for clean lines?

I hope this is okay to ask here. I thought I would ask people who have experience with doodling one here via tablet.

I am having some trouble getting clean lines. Like in terms of clean anime like the more modern ones like say Pokemon for example. They have clean perfect lines and I can't do it for the life of me. Not on a tablet anyways.

Anyone have any tips to achieve this?

Picasso once say, "The first step to painting is to be able to draw a straight line". There's not really tips for it, you just have to practice. What I did was that I sat down for 2 hours, and didn't stop until I got it right. At about 30 minutes I got very frustrated, at 1 hour I got extremely mad and at 1 1/2 hours I wanted to kill myself, but I kept going until I made it.

I guess this is true. Thanks. I am only just now seeing this reply. I have to get more used to this tablet I guess. I have a real steady hand on paper but not on this. I didn't grow up using one though so I am sure that has something to do with it.

I know exactly what you mean about Tablets. Digital Art is great, but for me as a practice I don't like how it feels. It doesn't compare to the old pencil and paper.

This is why I pay digital artists to do things for me...

In any case, practice should do you the most service, like Rexy said
