    Tablet/e-reader....?

Do you use any kind of a tablet or e-reader to read? If so, what kind do you use? How many e-books do you have on it? How often do you read on that thing?

I have two Kindles. One of them is one of the first OG types, but a few years back I got one of those Paperwhites. They're great things, but I've gotta admit: it doesn't beat a real book. I can see my Kindle collection on my PC using Kindle Cloud Reader. I have quite a lot of books in my library but many of them are the crappy ones you find on Kindle Unlimited that comes with Prime. They're about: coding, games/game design, travel, health... and a couple of novels too.

I have a much bigger collection on Audible which I greatly prefer. Probably my meatiest Audible purchase that only cost one of the monthly credits is:

For a long time I've wanted to get into Sherlock, but I'm actually a little hesitant about beginning this! Sure, it is a collection and I wouldn't need to read everything, but I doubt I'd ever finish them all at that length...

I just finished that series the other day. It's really fantastic. Fry does a great job of bringing Holmes, Watson, and the many other characters to life. He even does a good job of an American accent.

I work at a University so I have super easy access to the library and Inter-Library Loan so I can request any book that the library doesn't have. I prefer real books to reading on a screen as well, so I always go that route when possible. Until recently, I had a very long commute, so I've plowed through dozens of audiobooks as well over the years. Most likely over 100.

I have a kindle paperwhite (2019) and I find it really easy to read off it plus the battery lasts absolute ages. I have about 5 ebooks on it and I use it every now and again, whenever I'm in a reading mood.
