    RE: Power Dust -.-

Wow, and I thought my computers had got pretty dusty over time. (I've made a habit of cleaning them every so often.) That's just terrible. You'd think the IT staff would keep the systems clean for the students' sakes!

Still, as is usually the case, it could be worse...

    What is this?

    Ant dinner.

    Roach city.

    Nom.

Finally, a mummified dust frog, which was as hard as a rock apparently. It must have been in the case for years. Anybody up for frogs' legs?

Unfortunately, the only way to clean them well is to open them up. They get so dusty so quickly. I've had to deal with clean ups far too many times.

Holy crap! XD Those are some pretty nasty cases haha.

I don't exactly have the dust problem so bad with my case. For all the openings I have a kind of see through padding deal which catches all the dust. I just have to blow them off or shake em a little bit every once in a while.

    Wow @ the frog pic.

Wonder how the guy got in there in the first place. Anyway, worst I've seen in person was a few insects and a ton of dust similar to the OP's picture.

Guess the IT in your school doesn't want to do their maintenance portion

I don't know how any of those situations are possible.

Where the hell were they discovered to be in that sort of state with mummified former life contained? An ancient Egyptian pyramid?

Apparently it may have happened during the manufacturing process. You wouldn't think it's easily possible, but I think a lot of computer assembly is automated when it comes to big corporations. So as you could imagine, the poor thing may have decided to play Frogger on a conveyor belt and found itself in a rather sticky situation.
