    Best Web Browser

There are too many web browsers to choose from and all have their own advantage and disadvantages. The most popular web browsers are Chrome and Mozilla. I'm using Chrome and I think it's one of the best browsers out there however it eats a lot of RAM that it is not really recommended for old laptops especially those that has 1GB of RAM below.

What web browser are you currently using? Are you satisfied with its performance?

So far I have been using Chrome and Vivaldi. Both are good though Vivaldi doesn't play videos smoothly sometimes. I am also using a quite old PC though I do not have some lag issues I'm still on the hunt for browsers that don't eat up too much RAM. So far, these two are doing okay, I used to use Maxthon but it turned a bit crappy overtime.

I am also using Chrome currently, but only because Mozilla is not working good on my PC for some reason. But Mozilla is much better since, as you said, it does not eat a lot of RAM and I think that it is slightly faster. I tried Opera as well but I didn't like it that much.

I've been using Mozilla since as long as I can remember. It really hits my sweet spot when it comes to customizing, and the overall performance. I don't like Google Chrome because of it's looks and the constant translating of pages for no apparent reason.

I think each and every one have their own perks and bad things and that's whats good about choice, if you don't like it, you just move on to the next one. For me however, it has been and always will be Mozilla all the way. It just works really good.

Mozilla and Chrome are two of the best and most popular browsers out there. The only main issue of these two is that they are power hungry and won't run so smoothly if you're using an old or outdated computer. I've tried using Vivaldi as well @workingbuck and the reason why I tried it is because of its interface. It's cute and somewhat different compared to the usual tabs on browsers that we're used to. However, I stopped using it due to the fact that it won't run smoothly on my ancient lappy Now I'm still using Chrome and sometimes Slimjet for work.

I remember when I used Mozilla back when Firefox was just called Mozilla. Gee, that must have been 2004 or something. For some time I used Firefox and I didn't particularly like the look of Chrome in its early days. Two main reasons why I switched: Firefox was much more crash-prone as at the time (not sure about now) it handled everything in as single process. Secondly, if you ever installed any extensions (or "add-ons" as they're called on Firefox) you had to restart the browser which was frustrating as I like to try many. As far as I'm aware this is still the case. Finally, I don't really like Mozilla as a company. They have a real air of arrogance and so do many Firefox users to be honest!

It's been well over five years (I think) since I started using Chrome entirely. The main disadvantage is that it's a memory hog, but otherwise I love it. I probably have too many extensions but I find most of them extremely helpful. Even though Chrome uses a lot of RAM it operates very smoothly in my experience. I guess the main reason not to use Chrome is if your system is sluggish, although it should be okay if you don't use many extensions or tabs.

    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"
