Thread: The Lie Game

Post three things about yourself. Two of them will be true. The next poster must guess which one is a lie. If you wish, you can use the "Agree" or "Disagree" options at the bottom of a post to tell the person whether they guessed correctly! Let's begin...

• I have been a vegetarian before
• I have four sisters
• I've never smoked

Hmm... I'm gonna say the top one is a lie, based on your fondness for pork crackling, I can't really see you as a vegetarian.

- I have two cats
- I am lactose intolerant
- I have nearly injured someone in a game of darts

I'm gonna guess lactose intolerance, since it's both the most logical (ew, logic) and I know the first one is true. It'd be entertaining if it was a game of darts though...

-My oldest cousin looks younger than me
-I can still fit some of my clothes from elementary and middle school
-I can whistle

I'm going to guess that the lie is that you can whistle.
Why? I just feel it in me bones... lol.

- I wear cowboy boots
- I own a revolver
- I never talk to my siblings (because they don't exist)

Hmm, I'm gonna say the bottom one is a lie since the other two reinforce each other and I know you're allowed to own guns over there. Are you a bounty hunter, Asher?

And lactose intolerent is correct! Or not... I dunno. Scarab shrugs. About the dart thing-- I was a dumb kid who had too much sugar in his body, and for some reason kept throwing darts directly towards the chavs who were playing next to us. One time I came ridiculously close to nailing the guy in the head, that would have been nasty. Anyway...

- My initials spell 'HAL'
- I have been accused of plagiarism
- I have a fascination for insects

I just realized based on my answer earlier I should've been saying lactose intolerant was true, hurray for insanity prevailing? This time I go with plagiarism as the lie. I think we've talked about insects before and your initials. And mine.

Also Asher: well done! I can't whistle for my life. Or lie, apparently.

You got it wrong, Hari! I was a vegetarian about a decade ago. It was more a "how the hell does my girlfriend do this?" experiment. It only lasted a couple of weeks at the most. The lie was "four sisters". I have three.

Hmmm, I'm going to guess that you can't run a mile. I probably can't for that matter since I'd think "fuck it" and get on my bike instead.

I feel 99% certain it's the TV show. Mostly cause you've told me your favorite.And you're right. I can't run a mile...I can barely WALK one at this point, but the running has been an issue a long time.

- I've been to Niagara Falls.

I'm going to guess you've never had the cops called on you. I just can't picture it.

Shocking enough, I have! I used to lock myself in the bathroom during panic attacks and at one point the cops were called to get me to come out. :/ I've not been to Niagara Falls...yet.
