    What Anime Are You Watching?

This thread is essentially the anime version of threads such as "what games are you playing?" "what are you listening to?" and the like, because I noticed we didn't seem to have one yet- and I know all of us (or, I think we all do) love anime! Whether it's one you've watched a million times or just found, what anime are you currently watching (in general- I know it's hard to watch anime and type at once!)? Feel free to go into detail on how you feel about it so far and such.

    -

I've been watching an anime called Castle Town Dandelion (in Japanese: Joukamachi no Dandelion). It's a cute, fairly episodic anime about a royal family with nine kids and all of them have unusual powers. They're currently all fighting for the throne via an election, and are constantly under surveillance by the public (and by their dad, the king, who is over-protective and installed a couple hundred security cameras throughout the city they live in). While the anime description on hulu focuses on the third daughter, Akane (the 'dandelion'), the anime regularly switches gears between different character viewpoints and stories. I like how unique some of the powers are, and it's pretty humorous. I'm just glad what the description said wasn't what I expected when it mentioned cameras them...

I also have been watching bits and pieces of Katekyo Hitman Reborn. My dad binge watches it without me since I need to be in the mood most times and he's addicted, but I don't really mind at this stage just walking in to watch with him while he's far ahead of me. I really need to go back and rewatch most of season two onward...

For current anime I'm watching Drifters. It's based off the manga of the same name and the manga-ka is Kouta Hirano of Hellsing. So far it's fallowing the manga pretty good. I'm also been watching Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt just to give myself a break on binge wathing Daredevil on Netflix.

I've been thinking about checking out Drifters as well, as someone who loved Hellsing Ultimate. In fact, I'm gonna get on that right now!

Now that Bungo Stray Dogs is back, I've been watching that, along with Haikyu!! I also picked up Bloodivoers, and an older anime called Senyu. It's episodes are only about 4 minutes long each, but it's a really funny anime that has mad me laugh multiple times per episode. High recommend it, especially since each episode is so short.

Crunchyroll, like pretty much everything else lol.
But, yeah, it's really damn funny, it's basically just a constant joke about shounen anime, and done really well.

I'm in the middle of rewatching Lost Universe. I used to love this show back when I was a teenager . I believe it's made by the same team that did Slayers. Watching it now, it's still fun. It has some digital effects that have not aged well and some of the animation is iffy, but it's decent show for the most part and, for me, a nice trip down memory lane.

I just finished up Kimi no Todoke, a romance slice of life anime it's cute, and the story is interesting, but it's REALLY slow paced. But when it does have its more romantic parts, it does them very well. And the art style is really nice.

Wow, some great recommendations here! I finished watching Erased just about a week ago now, and it's still vivid in my mind. A nice psychological series with some smooth animation.

I am not watching any right now. I will be soon. I actually joined to get into the spark of old Toonami favorites again. Outlaw Star being one that I never gave my full attention, I am starting there. So I plan on re-watching the series again, then I will also be watching the new DBZ Super as well as rewatching one of my all time favorites, Cowboy Bebop.
