Your favorite anime openings (or endings!)

Pretty self explainatory, right? Feel free to share any openings/endings you like, old or recent!

The new Berserk opening never fails to get me hyped. I wish I could say the same about the series itself, but that's another thread in itself.

It took a while for Kaiji's season two opening to grow on me, but I think I've reached a point now where I like it even more than the first.

And of course, I couldn't not include JoJo. The whole series has had some fantastic openings (Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town is another favorite) but I think this will always be the one in my heart. What a fantastic way to kick off the adaption.

My absolute favorites are hard to find on youtube due to legal restrictions. But I'm going to start with what's probably my favorite ending of all time, the ending credits for Eden of the East:

Phi Brain Season 3 OP (Easiest one to find for me at the moment, and it's good to me, so that's fine.)

And because I found it before my actual favorite from Natsume Yuujinchou, you get two. First from Shi, which I like because we get to see past meet present.:

And from Zoku (I don't know what language the translated lyrics at the bottom are, sorry xD). I mostly like it because of a similar reason to the other one.

....I'll stop for now. Yep, totally. For now. While I go bombard myself debating on which ones to post next. Too many to watch. And to learn of.

I really like that first one, the use of stop motion and papercraft is super neat. ^^ I've actually been meaning to check out Eden of the East, just haven't gotten around to it...

Here's a classic anime for you, I say classic but it actually isn't very well known at all. Still, there's something special about old 80s anime.

Speaking of 80s anime, I really like the opening of Legend of the Galactic Heroes, but I've unfortunately never seen the series itself since it's a little long for my liking. Maybe someday. The moustache'd guy at 0:57 makes me smile.

I haven't watched Case Closed in a long time (hard to believe it's still going) but this opening always brings back happy memories.

I like a lot of the Openings from KHR, but OP 8, Listen to the Stereo

I also really like Hunter x Hunter's Opening, Departure. It's the only OP the show has, but it's darn good.

And I like Erased's OP too, even though the show went downhill fast in the last few episodes.

Reborn! was a funny series, though I only read the first couple of volumes. Sometimes I think I could use my own little mafia baby to kick my ass in gear. xD

HxH is another series I'm planning on getting around to, but there are a few different series' at this point so I'm not really sure where to begin...

Expect insanity. Like, really heavy duty insanity and awkwardness. Just warning you now. I've rewatched the series probably three times though.

If you consider those anime old, think of one based on a 60s manga (which now I naturally have to introduce) - Cyborg 009. It's basically as old as our parents. xD

I loved that one too by the way. xD

Also yay, I see a bunch of other anime I love- like Case Closed! And Hunter x Hunter! I have a hard time finding Case Closed music to put on my tablet. Not sure why. :/

As much as I love Reborn!, I'd recommend going through HxH first. The first arc is a bit slow, and is fairly similar to the Chunin Exam from Naruto (with a few differences here and there), but the next 2 arcs are good (Heaven's Tower and Greed Island), but the 4th arc, the Chimera Ant arc, is STUPENDOUS. Easily my favorite arc out of any shonen anime. Not going to spoil much, but the main antagonist isn't just your "I want to rule/destroy/remake/burn the world" kind of dick bag, he's actually a really well made, well fleshed out character who isn't just super evil. He's a fantastic character, and one of my favorites. I HIGHLY recommend HxH, especially the Chimera Ant arc. I love that arc to pieces.
Not to mention the manga FINALLY started back up again lol. Only took about...1.5 years.

And I definately recommend the characters from Cyborg Soldier 009. Don't much remember the show, but the characters, absolutely lol.
Reminds me a bit of Knight of the Zodiac/Saint Seia.

One of my fav's, and imo one of THE coolest anime openings EVER. Period.

On that note, since I'm speaking to OS fans I think this will resonate: if you're looking for a great series that's truly unlike anything else, has a great English dub, AND is underrated to boot, you gotta' check out Baccano!

I loved Saint Seiya as a kid. And yes! Honestly the best thing about Cyborg 009 was the characters over anything. Especially GB. Whose name will always make me laugh a bit. But mostly because of the personalities...And the sometimes unique abilities that felt more like mutants at times than cyborgs. But seriously, 003 was amazing. And she taught me a neat fairy tale too.

That is a cool opening, very stylish as well! Looks like another anime I need to put on my 'to watch' list...
