    Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle

If you don't know it, Phi Brain is an anime full of action-packed...puzzle time!? Seriously. It's full of puzzles and insane and awesome characters. Or at least, that's my opinion. But that's because I'm pretty much addicted to it [probably because i can super relate to the protagonist. Darnit Kaito. Why are you, my obvious male counterpart, so athletic and awesome?]

For those of you that do know it at all:

    Opinions?

For me, I adore Ana the most, but...I also just love the puzzles. Honestly, it just makes me want to do tangrams and mazes constantly. And randomly draw labyrinths. But I also can't get my head out of the action and such y'know?

Oh, and I flailed and freaked out in episode 5 or so when an Evangelion reference was made...I had to yell at my friend to look at a clip within 2 seconds.

Haven't watched this particular anime because there are tons of anime out there who have met my required genre. When I have ran out of anime to watch then I might consider giving this one a shot.

I'm more of an action, adventure, fantasy, martial arts, shounen, comedy type of genre guy. And also the synopsis plays an important part as well. If you can't convey how interesting that anime is in 1 or 2 paragraphs then it's a failure. There's so many animes to watch yet so little time we have..

Well, Phi Brain does have a good amount of comedy in my opinion, and it's a LOT of action [did i mention they're deadly puzzles? I mean literally deadly. Like, if you don't complete them, you will die]. The first one reminded me of Indiana Jones because it's a maze with a giant boulder chase at one point. xD For me, what really sells the show besides the puzzles are the characters. I mean, Kaito [MC] will do ANYTHING to figure out a puzzle that's irking him- even if it gets him in trouble.

Oh there's also quasi mind control and fantasy-ish element. Not like...elves or anything...But...The artifact that makes people go crazy with power and puzzles is sorta like mind control to me. And scary as heck.
