What is the most weird anime you have ever watched?

I have watched alot of weird anime but I think the most weird one I have watched was between Dokuro Chan and Bo-bobo-bo-bobobo. Its funny to think that there is any plot in either of them. Which anime in your opinion has been really random?

Seitokai Yakuindomo is definitely one of those 'insane, little plot' titles. Recorder and Randsell was pretty silly and awkward at times along with similar titles...

But if we're not going with plotless but just plain bizarre anime, I'd say that to me, Madoka Magica [I read it more than watched it, but STILL a bit weird to me] and Eden of the East are some pretty dang weird ones. And Eden of the East cannot be denied weirdness. It starts with a freaking naked amnesiac with only a gun and a cell phone trying to help the heroine dealing with cops and figure out where/who he is...in front of the White House. There is nothing normal about that. xD

    Weirdest anime that I've seen?

Hmm...I'll freely admit that I probably haven't seen as much anime as others on this board, but I think I'd have to say Panty and Stocking w/Garterbelt and Puni Puni Poemi. Didn't really warm up to PSG until about halfway through with the introduction of Scanty and Kneesocks- the demonic counterparts to the title characters. IIRC, Puni Puni Poemi was done by the same people who produced Excel Saga but crammed even more weirdness into a 2-episode OVA. Then again, both titles are pretty much entirely parody and offers not much in the way of plot or continuity.

Outside of works that could be considered parody, the weirdest anime with a consistent plot that I've seen would have to be the Read or Die OVA.

The weirdest anime I have ever watched is Rin Daughter of Mnesoyme. It had no idea that it had lesbian themes in it. Because it was under the label of fantasy. It also had a character that you thought it was a boy the whole time. But it turned out to be a man/woman.

Kitkat, that's pretty common. In my favorite anime, Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle, one of the main characters is a guy that is always appearing as a girl and is usually assumed one by other characters. In fact, even in the third season, another main character still cries to him like crying to his mom, so he has to remind him, "I'm a boy, you know."

Yes Ana, we know you're a boy. But honestly, there are plenty of reasons to doubt :/

Tokyo Fish Attack or Gyo. It's one of the weirdest, stupidest things I've ever watched, but that makes it really funny...
Basically,, the whole special (it's 90 minutes) revolves around fish that somehow grew robotics legs, can now walk on land, and can infect people and turn them zombies by farting on them.
It's just as weird as it's sounds.

Pseudo, that totally reminds me of this weird-as-heck manga, Chimoguri Ringo to Kingyobachi Otoko, about a weird person with a fishbowl for a head and when he attacks people, they turn into goldfish...So this person is 'shooting herself' into their blood to try to save them and get them back to normal. And it's just weird. If they made an anime of it, I'd probably be too nervous to watch it. It's sorta neat though in that...creepy what did I just read sorta way.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is pretty BIZARRE. If it wasn't so violent, might be hard to take it seriously. :p Soul Eater is pretty weird as well with all the abnormal characters. I'm sure with most Shonen-like anime, you could probably make a case that they are all weird. :p Pretty much anything Bennett the Sage reviews is about as weird as it gets. Look him up on Youtube.

A weird anime I've seen was Apocalypse Zero. First watched it my senior year in high school and watched it a couple of times since. The weirdness and just sheer f**ked up violence and characters is lasting. Bennett the Sage did a review of it his thoughts of it sums it up.

We are all insane, we just act normal for the sake of others.

You ain't seen a thing until you've seen Midori. I wouldn't wish seeing that on anybody. Some of the scenes in the uncensored version are revolting and even I, who has watched many disturbing things, found it difficult to stomach it. It's one of few anime that I know to be banned in Japan. Here's a small trailer that, whilst still a bit nasty, isn't half as bad as the full version. Only open the spoiler with that in mind, that it's still pretty f***ed up anyway.

Also, I'll have to check out some of your suggestions. I do like weird things.
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"
