    The Right To Dream

I'm glad to see a place like this is still around. OS was something that first came on when I was pretty young, and for the longest time it seemed like it was just something fated to stay obscure and unknown.

Since this place looks pretty great and active, I had to join. Here's hoping that things continue to grow.

Hello, Blondie! I love that avatar.

Yeah, that kind of thing happens with a lot of anime, manga, and other entertainment like video games. Even the popular ones. For instance, I don't know of a dedicated Cowboy Bebop forum and it shouldn't be so surprising to see one for an anime so popular. Same goes for Death Note and (nearly) everyone loves Death Note. (I did find a foreign Death Note forum but it was abandoned.)

People just accept and put up with social media and reddit, but I never get any community feel from them if you know what I mean. That's why I made OSN: to connect fans of the show and those new to it. A return to what it used to feel like in the early/mid-2000s before niche forums lost a lot of popularity.

Glad you found us! Welcome to OSN.

Is your name a reference to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly by any chance?

Anywho, greetings and salutations! Yeah, it's sad that Outlaw Star fell into obscurity but like Mantis said, that's pretty much the fate for a lot of series. Just take a look at stuff like Tenchi or Slayers. They were huge back in the day and now you barely hear anyone bring up either of those shows anymore. I sort of see it as a blessing in disguise since having a small community is more comfy compared to some of the big franchises that same to bring in fans who typically butt heads and troll and just getting into old fashion pissing wars.

Hope to hear more from ya!

It is, and also the name I go by when it comes to writing certain things. I didn't always have that name but after a enough people kept asking me to come up with something, that's what I stuck with.

This place really does have that classical feel to it, too. Reminds me of the long gone days when I used to look for Elfen Lied and Chobits episodes off of some long-dead video streaming site. All that's missing is some Gorillaz and Modest Mouse. Given how long it's been, that this place is still up here and active, I feel like I have to be a part of it.

Welcome to the forum! Happy to see more people joining up.

I remember watching Elfen Lied back in like 2011 I think it was, they actually had it on Netflix believe it or not. Likely not on there anymore. It is hard to find older animes now that weren't as popular. Not sure why.

Anyways, hope you enjoy your stay!
