    Hi

I just found this forum after stumbling onto the new pilot video on YouTube. Glad to see so many outlaw star fans.

I wish I could see more! Lots of fans, just not enough of them knowing about OSN. I'm glad you found us. Welcome to Nexus. Have you been a fan of Outlaw Star since the Toonami days, and if not, when?

Also, did you ever play Kirby's Dream Land? I miss that game.
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

I found out about Outlaw Star from adult swim maybe 8 years ago? I never knew it had a manga or books, I just knew of the anime. Did the manga come before or after the show?

Oh yes, Kirby is my middle name and my favorite smash character. I’ve played all the old school Kirby games. I personally loved Kirby’s dream course for the SNES.

Greetings good sir! (Or ma'am or creature or whatever you are)!

It's always a pleasure to have another fan come into the fold! If you haven't checked out the manga, Mantis and Zemekis are working on it here so be sure to check out what they've already completed. It's quite different from the anime but really cool.

Anywho, make yourself at home. We usually have get togethers (Or try to anyway) where we watch anime or play some vidya. You're welcome to join if you'd like. Hope to hear more from ya soon!

    What they said.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

Before, by close to two years. The manga first appeared in the Ultra Jump magazine with chapters being published every month. Originally the anime adaptation was going to be more faithful. There were even storyboards drawn depicting Gene and Melfina sex (almost anyway) scenes. Eventually, Sunrise who handled the anime decided to go with a more positive theme that appealed to younger audiences, while ultimately keeping the story more adult, or seinen in nature.

If Outlaw Star had been more faithful, it would have never made it to Cartoon Network/Toonami and thus would not have been a booming success in the west. Probably more popular in Japan, but mostly unheard of at this side of the world.

Sorry i'm a bit late! Welcome to the party, Kirby. Consider joining us for one of our weekend get-togethers to watch OLS or a movie or play some games together. It's a good opportunity to ask other OLS trivia and not havento wait for us to ask via the forum.

While we are working on the manga, we are doing lots lots more (novels, audio dramas, art books, etc.). There is much much more to OLS than 99.9% of fans realize.
