Thread: This site rocks!

Hey guys,

I randomly found this site in my internet travels, and I've gotta say, this place is awesome! I didn't think there would be any kind of active, dedicated fan site for a relatively obscure manga/anime still in existence, but I'm happy to see that there is. Other than seeing an episode here and there back in the day, I never really got into Outlaw Star until recently. I decided to give it a go one day, and to my surprise, it ended up becoming one of my favorite shows ever. Since I first watched it beginning to end around 2017, I've (embarrassingly) watched it through probably 5 times since. I just can't get it enough, few animes hold me like this one does.

Howdy! It's always great to get fresh blood. We don't have a lot of folks here but the benefit is this is kind of our small corner of the internet. Rarely have to deal with trolls or douches. You got the re-release on blu-ray? I remember first watching it way WAY back in the day on Toonami and that's how I got hooked into it. I know it's not the most original story on getting into Outlaw Star but there it is.

I second that! Feel free to join us, usually on a Saturday or Sunday when we do our get-togethers. If you love rewatching Outlaw Star, I'm sure this would interest you! Recently I discovered recordings of all the episodes censored! Since you're new to the party (I'd also consider myself late as I first watched through Outlaw Star in 2008) you might not know about this, but back in the Cartoon Network days they broadcast Outlaw Star, but with lots of audio censored and (arguably bad) workarounds to dodge spicy scenes. We'll be watching those very soon.
